i just want ask
Anybody in here like read lightnovel about adventure in game?
can anybody share me the recommend novel,
I'm reading various web novels, mostly from Japanese authors translated into English. This theme you mention has become very popular lately it often follows a premise similar to that of Sword Art Online (that also started as web novel).
THE place for fan translated web novels is
novelupdates, you should check it out and search according to your criteria.
I believe they use the tag "vrmmorpg" for those, many follow the same premise: VR game, people get trapped, fight for survival. There are many interesting twists like in Overlord where the main character belongs to the "monsters" side.
Also of interest to you is the "isekai" genre. This means "another world", someone travels for whatever reason from a real like world into fantasy like world (or vice versa
) In the end it is very similar to vrmmorpg, sometimes they even show stats like "magically" like a jrpg.
So you want a recommendation, read
Apotheosis of a Demon – A Monster Evolution StoryA back-to-basics(?) monster evolution novel.
A new VRMMORPG, “World of Yggdrasia”, was recruiting beta testers from all over the world. Ten thousand testers began their journey of swords and sorcery in a new realm, one that was as large as Earth.
At the same time, a clandestine experiment was underway. Unbeknownst to the world at large, 100 secret alpha testers were given bodies of monsters and summoned to the same land.
The girl of white was one such tester. Despite the odds against her, she continued to evolve again and again. To rebel against the real world’s invasion, she would become a most terrible beast, the destroyer of worlds… the Bunny Girl!
“…wait, what? Me?”
Our protagonist would survive, unyielding, knowing no despair.
I enjoyed this so much i went to read other titles from the same author.
One of the nice things of catching a web novel before it gets published, is that its free to read. Also important, after each chapter people make comments (also in the original Japanese site), they are very good, sometimes enriching the story. The authors do read those comments and sometimes steer their stories accordingly. Also when a novel gets into mass media, it tends to degrade, a lot. Sometimes its fine (SAO is pretty much the same as the light novel, minor some details (Ie. the "Tonki" adventure), but for example in Zero no Tsukaima they changed a LOT in the animation and nearly ruined it).
But go ahead and check
novelupdates, there is something for everyone there, probably.
