The futures is now trading at $460 ++ per LBTC, is the snapshot already occurred? or it will be tomorrow? i cant find some info about the snapshot date.

Most probably will park some BTC on yobit and just grab the free airdrop of LTBC/

But the snapshot on Yobit was made 19.12.2017 (LBTC was added at a 1:1 ratio to BTC) and on other exchanges too.  Or im wrong ?  Huh

Lightning Bitcoin [LBTC] has a nice features - its first DpoS btc fork, with smart contract support.
Leader of the lbtc community is a crypto-millionaire Jack Zhang  - Founder of DAF, Founder of ChainFunder, early investor of AntChain, NEM, Metaverse, IOTA and Qtum. Mainnet must be launched tomorrow, i hope that all will be ok  Smiley

this news is a big improvement for bitcoin. The biggest problem with BitCoin was the transfer fee. this issue is going to get out of hand. the price will have a positive effect.

I think that bitcoin has long been needed to solve transactions problem. But I'm not sure that Lighting will solve this problem at all. The first tests of this technology have already passed but there is very little information about it.

What is the purpose of this fork? Is there a new feature? Lightning network is already live on btc main net so It cannot be that.
Also I got all my btc in ledger nano. Cannot get these forks unless they develop an app for it. Which is really annoying. But it's a small price for keeping my coins safe.

I think that is just a misleading fork since it has nothing to do with the lightning network being deployed on the main net. First we already have LN running on bitcoin, even though it's development is still ongoing, and second, we won't need a fork for lightning network to be "activated". Users will just run LN nodes, and open channels on them.

I would say they are just trying to take some profit out of the "lightning" word associated with bitcoin. It looks like a normal fork to me.

So far as i know there is an electrum based wallet for LBTC:

https://www.lbtcwallet.org

It should work just like a normal fork.

However i am not sure if the final version is out and if its working.

I just read it everywhere.

Hello friends!

Why there are no active discussion about Lightning Bitcoin [LBTC] fork? Im interested in, dont you ? But i feel lack of information about this project.

According official Lightning Bitcoin [LBTC] Twitter -  Mainnet launch will coming soon:

"The Testnet has been disabled. Currently preparing for the launch of #LightningBitcoin Mainnet, running final system checks, setting the wallet and deposit/withdraw options for exchanges. The whole process will take a few more days. The Mainnet launch is scheduled for February 4".

I think that it is viable fork, not scam and it has a future.
What do you think about it ?
