What a mess.
This will never take off mainstream...NEVER.

True story..
For over 6years, i have been teaching friends and family about crypto..
and many of them still struggle to understand the basic fundamentals of how to use a wallet, hot/cold,back ups, security etc.
These are some smart people but they are not software engineers or computing geeks...
they work fulltime in other jobs and dont have the time to learn...

Try asking someone new to crypto and doesnt live on a pc.
if one btc is 1  , how would you write half of a btc....some will say...1/2  only a few will say 0.5.

This is a huge step backwards...
Users need to have a node running 24/7 ...and maintaining your ln wallet will be like a fulltime job.
It will never work.

LIGHTNINGNETWORK SCENARIO.
You (A) open a channel with your local grocery store (B) for $100. At checkout you realize that your "friend" Pat (C) bought groceries before you and routed through your channel to buy her groceries. Now your AB channel is no longer usable.  Huh

When will LN be 100% adopted, and will it be adopted before BCH overtakes market? or ALTS for that matter?

If you're asking if it will be adopted before BCH overtakes the market, the answer is YES. The LN had successfully tested and its now being adopted, on the other hand, BCH will never overtake BTC in the market even in the future.
How can you say this?
LN is not even working yet! ..and its not being adopted by anyone... have you read the link above about btc going missing on LN mainnet?

I have some questions on LN.

Why LN hubs are thought to be centralized while BS supporters calling it decentralized? Why there is such discrepancy of opinion in technical aspects? Isn't there documentation?

Lightning is a decentralized network using smart contract functionality to enable instant payments across a network of participants. It's dependent upon the underlying technology of the blockchain. By using real Bitcoin/blockchain transactions and using its native smart-contract scripting language, it is possible to create a secure network of participants which are able to transact at high volume & speed.
