I wouldnt make an investment based on a "possibility" of being added. These speculations are likely just attempts at pumps. Unless your insider trading at Coinbase *cough cough , then you wont know what is getting added if anything.

Coinbase came out earlier this month and said that they have no plans to add any more coins in the near future. If I had to guess, they don't add any coins this year.

If you can predict the next coin to land on Coinbase, you are likely to see an exponential jump in asset value upon announcement of that specific coin’s addition.
