However...
"Children have always used [physical items of value bestowed upon through attachment or playability]. Kids can imagine value and rarity as easily as adults." -- Although age is undeniably a factor in growth and wisdom, it doesn't matter to me if you're 17 or 57. I read your posts instead. YOU are having trouble understanding the value, let alone deeper ideas behind a cryptocurrency due to your own mind and experiences walling you in. It shows in everything that is the embodiment of you in this forum (so far).
What I mentioned before was that the best place for bitcoin-type currency is in a world of fantasy. -- Yes I'm fully cognitive, thank you. Can you imagine if a card game or video game made use of a peer to peer currency?
I think it would work, and optimistically it could ingrain a very different monetary system. -- Yes, I concur with this (and we are well on our way)!
I suggest that you step back from the situation and understand the dynamics of bitcoin for what they truly are. At the current, you just seem like another joe dirt with no true desire to understand, but willing to scrutinize. It kind of reminds me of a religious zealot in a foreign place he doesn't agree with having his mind already made up. You may think that you have the mind for this, but that's according to YOUR mind. Stay fresh, venerable one!
I am not in any way hinting that I am > you.
In the words of youth: check yourself before you wreck yourself! Lol.
