This isn't so much about convincing the die-hard (pun intended) anti-vaxers that they're wrong... it's probably more about explaining why they're wrong to those whose brain hasn't turned to mush yet and generally counterbalancing the bullshit.

For example, I don't think BADecker would ever admit that he's wrong, even if 200 million people don't die over the next couple of years, but it's worth pointing out how stupid that is so that some Bitcoin newbie doesn't think all bitcoiners are utter idiots.

I think he gave it a nice try, but one thing I've learned over the life (and especially the endemic, with all this antivaxx nonsense) - you don't talk about smart stuff with plebs (meaning stubborn uneducated people), they have no idea what they're talking about and won't understand even the smallest % of your arguments, not that they will try. They're just willing to spread nonsense and there's no way to stop them.
These people will ignore any reasonable arguments, facts, and science. If you give them REAL evidence (e.g. scientific articles, or wiki), they will either just ignore it or will go as far as discrediting these sources and state that that's all a lie and conspiracy and you're being an idiot to believe that wiki isn't run by Big Pharma or something of the sort.
The thing is, all the smart people will do their own research and won't assume and spread false info about the vaccines. Whilst dumb people will believe in these conspiracies and with each next argument from you, they will more and more think that YOU'RE the stupid one, and never ever will they assume that they can be wrong (because that is something only a smart person is capable of).
Ergo, anti-vaxxers are just dumb people that are unwilling to learn and change and accept other opinions are. So why bother spending your precious time on them?

Linux generally blows chunk IMHO.  BSD is better.  I only use linux for work, or occasionally when a machine which works better than winblows is needed for a technically challenged friend/family member.

I made it a habit to only work for an outfit who let me run my own workstation as I saw fit and build my own infrastructure as I saw fit...but broke that rule at the last place I worked I'll admit and used Linux as a workstation cause of some TPM horseshit.  Nobody is stupid enough to use winblows for anything.  At least no outfit who I would set foot inside.  I doubt that most people it Microsuck even use it frankly.  Mac was 'the shit' for the business-ee people and in some cases the tech people as well.  I guess it has a FreeBSD based userland which probably makes it tolerable.  Wouldn't know though since I'm not into trendy overprice bullshit.

Anyway, fuck Torvalds and the technocratic horse he rode in on.

Where can we get the money paid by the big pharma. I'm pretty sure that all of my relatives will be happy to receive such money just by spreading FACTS.

Like the people who don't realize that looking at the facts, rather than censoring the facts the other side shows, is because they are being paid off by Big Pharma.

It's like flat earth facing globe earth off. They show the info and the science on both sides. Most people don't understand the deep info of either side. But at least it is there so that people can take a look.

Regarding Covid and the Covid vaxxers vs the Covid non-vaxxers, all kinds of media want to censor the anti-Covid stuff, because they know that the Covid stuff doesn't have the answers. It really shows who the inorants are.

He simply said what anyone with a brain would say. Unfortunately it's a mailing list so you can't just delete the nonsense once it's been sent out to everyone, and IIRC it's an open list so anyone can send any such nonsense.

One would have to be a truly deranged conspiratard to post anti-vax bullshit on the Linux kernel mailing list but that's not much of a surprise anymore... lots of people have made full use of the freedom of being idiots on the internet.

The Covid vaxx is not what Torvalds is talking about. He is talking about other vaccines that have been done over the years, and something that is fictional, namely a Covid vaccine. There is no Covid vaccine. But he doesn't seem to have figured that out yet.

What is called the Covid vaxx, is really a genetic manipulation serum. The reason why it is promoted as a vaccine is, this way the the medical and Big Pharma can't be held liable for the damage. Once it is adjudicated to be what it is, not a vaccine, the medical and Big Pharma can be sued for damages by those with adverse reactions... sued to the tune of multi-$trillions. They'll be out of business.

But the corrupt prison system will get a lot more business.

I think BADecker will respond before Jet Cash does.
