I can't seem to get a straight answer to this.  All of my electronics (resistors) are in storage and the nearest Radio Shack is not near.

I am going to rush to setup a Linux box as a headless server to do some mining with my AMD cards when they arrive.  But until then, and maybe even while busy with the AMDs, I have a few Nvidia GPUs laying around I want to use.

1) Do I need "dummy plugs" to trick the Linux OS's Nvidia drivers to allow me to cudamine, on a headless box?  One for each GPU?  With F@H, I needed to do that with a Windows headless box.

2) How do you control Nvidia overclocking, temp monitoring, etc on a Linux box via command line?  Any specific software?  Environment settings?

Thanks!
