I've loaded this fucking distro over 100 times, the same way and with a fresh install I at least always get to the gui.

Now suddenly I can't get past the splash screen with linuxcoin final graphic, i just get a black screen or a black screen with a cursor in upper left corner.

I use unetbootin 555 to load the linuxcoin final iso to a 16gb freshly formatted flash drive, the load a 2Gb persistence file.

I've tried three different flash drives, all the same shit.

I've reset the cmos on the mobo twice.

tried going backward to linuxcoin 2.1b, won't load.

yesterday this all worked just fine. I have this system:

MSI 890FXA-GD70
4 x 5970 on pci x16 extenders - all in fine shape
sempron 145
2gb ram
seasonic 1250 gold psu

everything worked fine yesterday as I attempted to burn in the cards at 725/300. this morning i had a few dead gpus. So I shutdown the machine and it locked during shutdown forcing me to a hard shutdown with the power switch.

I wanted at add a few scythe ultyra kaze fans behind the gpus, two stacked on each other 4 total fans to blow air through the cards, attached to the psu with the molex connectors.

Tried to restart and black screen with _ at top left.

Reloaded linuxcoin over ten times with 3 different drives, etc. as stated above. i managed to boot into the GUI once using the linuxcoin menu item standard instead of persistent which is what i usually do.

I got in, wouldn't auto load drivers, so I did this thing to reload them and then nothing again.

Since I can't even get past black screen anymore.

God damnit someone please save me.
