The same damn thing has happened to me. From my records i still have 24k DOGECOINS which is only worth at that time @ $40 dollars or something. I didn't withdrew it hoping it would grow but things didn't go as planned because liqui.io is already closed for more than 2 years now. I am beginning to go back to Crypto Trading and was recovering most of my funds that are stored on many different wallets.

So far i recovered $800 dollar worth of ETH when it was still at $30ish value the moment, Recovered some XRP that is worth $500 now.  I paused on trading in crypto and i was really sad to know that my 24k DOGECOINS which is worth at $7k today is lost and won't be able to recover. This is a lesson for me and for now i won't store any cryptocurrency on exchanges.

5,644BTC? Is this for real? If so, my goodness! What is this huge amount of Bitcoin doing there in the first place? It is an exchange and, apparently, your funds are not even traded. You just let it sleep there?

I remembered during the good old Bitcoin days that Liqui was one of the trusted exchanges but still they succumbed to the worst Bitcoin or crypto days. Have you, therefore, not received their email informing you that the exchange is closing?

I doubt if they're still monitoring their email but who knows. You may try reaching out to them via [email protected].
I do believe it was 5.644 BTC not 5,644 BTC. Liqui never became or even one of trusted exchange, they just announced their site on this forum and just running it for a year or so and decided to shut down their site.
Idk they did ever asked people to withdraw their funds before they 100% closed or not back then.

Their official account on this forum was last active less than a year ago although its last post was made in 2017. Who knows, somebody might still be opening it in the near future and be able to help you. Try reaching out to it as well, https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/liqui-842080. Use all available contact points. That's a large treasure which is at stake here.

This doesn't look promising but I would like to encourage if anyone knows any additional information, please share.

I found a note in my notebook that I send 5,644BTC to liqui exchange back in beginning of 2017
That very sad bro. Back then that was about $5,600 and today It's worth about $200K  Shocked
I don't know if it's just me, but I wouldn't leave even $1,000 worth of Bitcoin in an exchange if I was going to be off for a long time. Centralized Exchanges are custodial services, and we should never use them as wallets. Once they are hacked or go offline, that's the end of the road for your funds.

Sadly all the news / updates that I've found so far reiterate what previous members also told : it's dead for good. The report is shared by numerous news outlets :

https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2019/01/143786-due-to-lack-of-liquidity-crypto-exchange-liqui-shuts-down/
https://cointelegraph.com/news/ukrainian-crypto-exchange-liqui-shuts-down-cites-lack-of-liquidity
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ukrainian-crypto-exchange-liqui-shuts-201600936.html

They did state that they couldn't guarantee support after 30 days have passed since their shutdown message. I've also tried searching for an active twitter for the company but it also has been deleted.

I'm sorry for your loss valov88, but the transaction records aren't worth much at this time...

Thanks to all you guys.

Back then the bitcoin was worth less then 1000$. Probably I bought some other coin with this bitcoins (I hope I withdraw it from liqui)

I see that also c-cex exchange is closed (interesting...both these exchanges are based in Ukraine) and i read that users were also unable to withdraw funds. Does anyone have more information's about this?

Do not use the platforms to hold your bitcoin for a long time, they are centralized platforms and they will let you withdraw your money within a short period if they stop using these platforms.

The average period is 6 months to 9 months, and I don't think they are obliged to keep this data for a long time, so contact them and they have the option to help you.

Ops It's a big amount but you did not care about this? (it's 5644 BTC or 5.644 BTC) though both is a big amount.

I really can not believe that you have hold such a big amount in a exchange and did not notice it later. what a rich man you are Smiley! This is already 1 year gone according to you, I believe none can help in this position. Generally, most of the exchange give some limited time to withdraw fund if they decide to be closed.
Really feel so sorry after hearing this. I will be very happy if you get back your fund in any way.

That was really bad I have also got funds their but already get it out before it closes, I don't think they still have support because it closes the year 2019 and only given users like 30 days, so I think your funds are gone, here is the news before: https://www.investinblockchain.com/crypto-exchange-liqui-shutting-down/#:~:text=Cryptocurrency%20exchange%20Liqui.io%20is,economic%20incentive%20to%20provide%20services.
or try to contact if they are still available but I doubt it

I'm sorry for what happened to your funds @valov88. From what I could gather exchange closed around January 2019, albeit still providing support to their customers regarding their funds, as stated by their last message ->

Like OmegaStarScream said, I'm also not able to access their support page. I would have liked to give you better news mate, but sadly this seems not to be the case ...

IIRC, they were helping people through their support page: https://liqui.freshdesk.com/support/home

But since it's no longer functional, and their Twitter account has been removed as well, I doubt you'll be able to get your funds back.
