i never knew that Liqui will shut down, at least not an exchanger as there are loads of money to be made through the exchange fees charged from people and they are willing to pay ofcourse it looks insignificant but put together is a whole lump sum that will go a long way in running an organisation, but then i appreciate their sincerity.

If an exchange service provider can't satistify its customers and have enough capital or technical backgroud, self-withdrawal from the market is the best solution for everyone. People who have been using its services should thank them for their sincerity and the services they offered.

It's sad, because I remember getting a lot of LTC from this exchange. This exchange used to be my favorite exchange and another bounty hunter, a lot of new tokens that always list in this exchange for the first time. Too bad now it will be closed Embarrassed

It is not a big surprise to see the exchange shutting down, the volumes were really low for sometime now and they could not sustain it for a longer period and that will be the case with most of the exchanges if the volumes are low, there have being a hack report last year and may be that is the main reason for them to shut down and the risk revenue factor is not that charming if you are not able to secure the funds of the customers.

A good purge is needed in this market. Less small exchanges means less shitcoins and vice versa.

Fiuhhh, This news really surprised me, it turns out that this is not the exchange I have ever used. because the name is almost the same. Liquid.com (Quinone). Does exchange liqui need KYC? If yes, then this is very hard for those who just registered.

I received their email earlier regarding to this. And well, it's better to them and for all the users who had faced issues with them. Hope all exchange that can't do their work for being an exchange from its security to support will be shutdown for good.

You have 30 days to withdraw your assets from it.

https://coingape.com/liqui-crypto-exchange-shuts-down-liquidity/

Today January 28, 2019, Liqui has posted an official announcement that it will be closing down because it cannot continue providing the required services to its users. According to the announcement, users have 30 days from today to withdraw all their assets as all accounts will be shut down after that time.

“Recently, we were happy to announce the change in our policies. We gave you the right to decide whether you want to be with us in our Crypto Exchange journey by accepting the changes. Much to our regret, after this step Liqui is no longer able to provide liquidity for the Users left. We also do not see any economic point in providing you with our services. However, we do not want to return to where we were a month ago. Hence, we decided to close all accounts and stop providing our services. It broke our hearts to do that.”
