I've been watching Lisk since $5. I never got in, but I have to go with them. If you're German and into crypto, you're getting BTC/ETH/LISK! LOL!
I prefer Waves. Waves is a strong and based coin like Ethereum.

Both are good investment but I tend to like waves more, and there are two reasons for that. On first place Waves has smaller market cap, which means more room to grow. The other positive for waves is that Lisk is almost at its all time high so there should be correction soon.
If we think about making this investment in the long run, my response is waves because the waves will be a solution to future technical problems
Waves for sure. Waves has a good working client and nice road map. Lisk only has speculation.
I remember couple of months ago Lisk increased just for a rumour that they will have a new logo.

Both are extraordinary undertakings - If I were in your circumstance I would put resources into Waves just in light of the fact that the cost is less expensive now and you'll have the capacity to buy more. almost same potential but lisk has a lead when it comes to changes on its rate with regards to its prices in exchanges, very bullish right now and that what makes it ahead of waves though waves on the other hand has sure gain in the future, it's like slowly but surely concept.
Wave and lisk are both performing very well now and this bullish trends has not left these coins behind! However I will prefer investing in lisk as this coin has built a very strong trust over some months now and I have benefited from it price upward movement. Wave on the other hand has some pump of recent and you can also buy it if you want.
I pick Lisks because I believe if the platform can get adoption and the use of Java script will make this a hit among developers, Waves good but I think there are going to be more better platforms than Waves in coming future. My fear for these projects is their burn rate which I don't think most of the team make public

Now waves is the best coin. Waves is decentralize exchange platform. It is the best time to holding it. The price of waves is increasing gradually. I also hold some waves and i am hopeful in future i will gate enough money.

Yet Lisk is now inside top 15 in market cap which means it is more valuable. I will also pick Waves because its room for growth is higher. Waves price hasn't recovered yet since it started to fall mid this year. Let's say Waves will break ath next year then it's already around 400%. LSK features solid volume on Bittrex and a lot of more USD/EUR/PLN markets.
This 70:30 suggestion from RippleSider I favor that. Smaller coin only 30% since higher risk of picking a "dud" but possible higher returns so not even a huuge investment seems required. On a huuge project you can invest big money and make enough for a living from small gains on a higher volume. Stuffing $7000 now into BTC, getting +10% until Christmas, that line of thought.
There is a strange pattern regarding Bitcoin Indonesia https://www.bitcoin.co.id and Waves trade over there. The Lisk people toured half of asia recent weeks but did not reached markets any further away from Berlin as BitBay (LSK/PLN). So far Zero Results from a lot of expensive advertising.
And a rebrand now will render Max's asia voyage futile, since he advertised the brand "Lisk" and not "whatever now rebranded!"

I like both a lot, but at the moment, Lisk has lost about 20% in the past week, while Waves has lost about 10% (if i recall correctly anyway). I have holdings in both so would advice myself to go for a neat and equal spread.
If you do take into account that Lisk has slid down more than Waves though, then you would expect it to be slightly more undervalued, so perhaps 60-40 Lisk/Waves.

More or less steadily releasing new stuff but the "major release" will be on the 20th of February 18.
Still would never sell my Lisk, haha.
Topic: For me it's 100% Lisk > Waves although I think both have great potential. I just don't really like Waves.

I do believe lisk is a good coin with a good concept, but i dont believe into the fact you will earn some money just by being a delegate, wich means big investors and supporters has a huge power over the coin. Waves concept for me is the best one since they pick up the fees generated from their internal transactions and share with all suporters of the coin, making all to benefict from the coin. I do pretend to invest into waves and stay away from eth, since waves will have the same feature of smart contracts, and the way they incentive people is quite different from others coins.

2. Waves : you can issue asset unit or token in one click and pay for 1 waves. But you can not modidied it. The good thing is waves now in the development of waves - NG which claimed can do fast transaction. The dex or decentralise exchange also available in mobile wallet.

Personally I choose Waves over Lisk all day every day. I'm a loyal supporter of Waves and ICO investor but I sold my coins for loss after ICO. I couldn't wait enough time to make profit. This is my one of the biggest regrets because I missed to have over 1 million USD. But this life, shit happens. Now I'm holding my Waves tighter than ever.
waves is good, but it does not have tokens with a large capitalization and the number of transactions, this prevents further growth in my opinion.
my vote goes for Waves first platform I knew about after Bitcoin.
Waves, because it offers smart contracts. There is also a working team and the amount of this team is huge. But Lisk does not have any of them. I think Waves will rise even faster.

Both of them are shit coins, Waves is like a joke, they have centralized it's DEX, they would verify whatever they could earn more money, just like exchanges asking for 2 Bitcoins to list your shit coin, if you pay them, your shit coin gets a green ticker.

This is just the beginning for lisk, they are just getting all their ducks in a line. I think by spring we can see a steady 15$
I am invested in both tokens. I think Waves has more upside potential, because Lisk had already a ncie run. But not sold any slice yet.

I really like Waves project!
It has lots of interesting features, its developers team is very serious and competent and also they have a decentralized exchange built in their platform that can be very useful and interesting for lots of people all over the world.
What Waves has been missing so far is a good marketing strategy which Ethereum had in its early days and still have these days. I think that both are pretty undervalued at the moment, so you are probably better off diversifying your investment 50/50 among the two coins. Lisk has some pretty awesome community and so has waves, and in the end that is what going to drive the price up eventually.
As i said - diversify instead of seeking one coin that you want to invest all your money in. And holding some waves and some lisk makes a lot of sense.
$700 is not a lot, so consider trading short term and hold long term instead of holding all the time.
I'll recommend ~~WAVES~~ if you are okay with long term investment, but you can buy now while the price of WAVES is still low, I speculate that WAVES will be bullish after Development team finished the future developments and features of WAVES see it here.

My forecasts are that with the growth of bitcoin and waves will go to the top. Therefore, it is necessary to invest more in them, Lisk option is also not bad, but its prospects are much less.
Lisk to me will bring long term value compared to wave. early this year lisk was below $1 but as at yesterday lisk was above $10 that is about 900% in just 8 months and lisk price is some how very stable compared to wave. I also do invest in coins that has high market capitalization with large coins supply. I have been trying to understand how wave will overcome the limitations place on it by Russian government ico banning.

Yeah both are good and both can give you profit in the long run for sure, this is a great advice to diversify your assets to lessen the risk. Hodl it because the future of this great coins is great believe on this and you will surely save your profit from being loss. That's a great amount to start for btw.
If you believe in both projects why don't you split your money into even? Put 350$ to Lisk and 350$ to Waves. They both are good projects. In the long term investment you can't lose money. But don't panic sell, just wait for the right time to come. Wait until what is long term for you.

You can invest both because LISK and WAVES are very good.- LISK has great technology and dev team work hard and very good. You can look at LISK price charts and news on it.

I was exactly in your situation few months earlier but struggling to choose between Lisk n OMG. Ended up going 70:30 and made decent amount. Diversifying not gets great return but its a safer choice, so either one will be savior

Yes, both coins are good. It is not necessary to choose only one. Now waves have the fastest coin in the world to be. And what I love about waves Sasha often talks about the future horizon of 10 years. Then he sees what place waves will take and what it should be doing. From Lisk as a great team.

I would go for Waves. But that's in terms of which one would give you much profit earlier. However, I would suggest that you also invest in Lisk. We predict and speculate but in the end we are not actually sure that our predictions and speculations will come into reality. And we all know that Lisk is also a good project. Both are actually worth investing. For me, it is really wise to divide your investment.
The problem with Waves is that the Waves tokens themselves have to be dumped whenever people buy some other token on the Waves platform. That creates a sort of conflict of interest where increasing adoption sees more of the Waves tokens sold off. Not good IMO.
People have different point of view each other, they do some different kind and factors of research. Both Lisk and Waves are good to choose if you prefer to do a long-term investment. Lisk and Waves have advantages and disadvantages of each and very worth it to put some money on them. I personally choose Waves since I am already comfort with their platform.

Go to the lisk. The SDK will have a better future than waves. Waves just full with a lot of the crap thing. Even the lisk was superior than waves itself. So many crap coin in waves. Most of the waves based ico had failed to reach the interest by the investors. Just like encryptotel and another that has so many problem. I wouldn't prefer lisk over waves. If I had to do something, I would split my budget for both of them. Waves is a great project with the decentralized exchange. But lisk is also a good, promising one. Split your money into two and get them.

Both are great projects -- If I were in your situation I would choose to invest in Waves simply because the price is cheaper now and you'll be able to purchase more. I think when all is said and done, they will have similar top end values; so in my opinion, Waves would seem to be the more profitable purchase/investment for your $700.
