Yes, you're right, among these accounts there is also mine that was stolen, my stolen username is CoinNextE, I'm Italian, but I think the one who stole my account is a Russian. However, you've guessed right, the person behind the stolen account is definitely a scammer.

Accounts Connected:

Uikjuysd, LujitaUsa, twocow, kelaxo76r, duyetbng, cristindec, erikaaderson, davidmia

Edit: I'm pretty sure there are more accounts. Possible other accs: cristianwillam, Tokuyised, Vienure (they fit the March 23-24 and May 11 registration date range, just like the others and are posting in the same threads. Actually, in the 'Thread 1', every single of of those accounts are posting right next to the other).

Proof:

Uikjuysd, twocow, kelaxo76r, duyetbng - All accounts created at the same day (March 23 2018);
cristindec, erikaaderson, davidmia - Accounts created on 10 May ~ 11 May.

Every one of them is making consecutive posts in the same threads, minutes after each other (check the date and time of their posts);

Thread 1:

It is a great place for saving our BitCoins and to enjoy the highest interest rate on it.
Keeping your BitCoin earning in SaveBox is the best decision and it is a fun when you start getting the instant interest from it.
In present situation when BitCoin is a famous sector of earning, SaveBox is doing very helpful job to be benefited by it.
It is indeed an incredible and innovative concept which is bringing revolutionary change in BitCoin earning world.
How SaveBox does maintain the safety and privacy of each user?
It is so amazing that with SaveBox you can immediately start getting the interest. A very timely idea.

Thread 2:

Travala.com is contributing the travel and tourism industry with a transparent and safe environment which is very important.
How does Travala.com deal against the manipulating or uncertain approaches of the data, data sources of consumers which are confidential?
Is there any smart phone based app available from Travala.com so that users can operate them more easily?
By associating with NEO Blockchain technology Travala.com is taking the challenges and making the issues solved of present days.
Undoubtedly Travala.com is a tremendous step which leads the travel and tourism industry towards being superior.
How is payment system protective in Travala.com?
Travala.com offers us with a fast and speedy maintenance process by avoiding the intermediary companies which make the process lengthy.

Thread 3:

By involving every person actively to control and monitoring their data, #be has put on an extra ordinary example.
#be is a revolutionary change to the digital world where every step is blockchain based. That is great.
It is great experience to be involved with #be as it has huge impact over the worldwide digital market place.
The worldwide businesses are being benefited by aggregating personal data which is providing potential influence over society.
I think #be has made a platform worldwide where digital activities have swung into an efficient tool to make good things happen.
How #be does provide the solution to the major problem – fraud advertisements?
No wonder #be is a tremendous idea which is playing a crucial role over the sector of digital activities.
How #be does assure trust and transparency in budget allocated advertisement?

Thread 4:

I think CatholicCoin is a unique concept that is putting on an extra ordinary example over the online charity and donation sector.
How CatholicCoin does maintain transparency while donating and charity works?
It is now amazing news that CatholicCoin has thought up for something for the natural disaster victims.
What CatholicCoin does do when the donated amount is in another cryptocurrency and not in CatholicCoin?
Nice Idea.Best Of Luck
CatholicCoin has proved that blockchain technology and cryptocurrency can be used in better concept and that could be so humanitarian and heart touching.
I think The best part of CatholicCoin is that helping people is most important to them and nothing else. And this makes them unique.

There are many more...

Sure mods have all the time in the world to go through your post and selectively check post history of every account in that thread to ban them. You should just link the profiles of the accounts that you think need a ban.

...I don't think it is enough banning them. You ban them, they open up another account. It's best to tag them and render such accounts useless.

I strongly suspect these are spambots set up to bump threads rather than eventually join sig campaigns, etc, so red tagging won't affect them in the slightest. Consequently, banning the "users" and marking the IP as evil would likely be the best deterrent.

Once a man, twice a child!
Lol...I literally rolled on the floor when I read through some of the links. Wow! Do we still have people like that still posting here, I asked myself. It was for this singular reason that the Merit system was set up in the first place and to think there are still people flagrantly posting thrash just to increase their activities is most disheartening. I don't think it is enough banning them. You ban them, they open up another account. It's best to tag them and render such accounts useless.

FWIW, I feel like the purpose of this thread is to give a head's-up to the mods about a new form of violation/spamming, so that when we report such threads the mods are more likely to nuke the bastards rather than mark our report as bad (or simply not handle it).
The patterns have been noticed and there is a handful of them. But the accounts should also be pointed out, I think. Currently the report system only supports posts.
I saw mods nuking accounts mentioned in this thread so I thought I'd do my part.

Oh, I definitely agree the accounts need to be nuked, rather than individual posts;  I was more saying that threads like this could serve as a convenient source of examples of similar behavior so the moderator that receives a spam report is more inclined to nuke the account rather than delete a single post/thread or even issue a temp ban.

It might even make sense to create a sticky thread here in meta with such examples, though such a thread might eventually become unwieldy given the endless creativity of the spammers and bot-coders.

If you give admins posts in this format, they're likely to not do anything. You should try to make it easier for them to take an action quickly without having to navigate links. You don't really want them to open profiles and then check the posts.

Well, that's why I put links to profiles involved at the bottom along with threads they've posted the incriminating posts at.  What else could I do to improve the format? Genuine question!

More accounts involved in plagiarism.
Either way, this thread is only meant to report ICO pumping accounts.
Yeah, that's what those accounts have been promoting.

I figured these accounts in particular were likely bots; I quoted a post from each of them earlier in this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.40391200 but wasn't entirely sure they were worth reporting. So, thanks for the confirmation. I was going to send each of them a PM asking if they were human or dancer, but you saved me the effort.

Thanks! I hope mprep/hilariousandco notices the thread and bans them accordingly. It's obvious all of these thread bumping accounts are newbies which don't intend to rank-up or earn merits.Creating a new account to post in an ANN thread is easy. Even if the accounts are banned, account farmers would make a new one in minutes. Maybe forum staff should come up with some rules which will restrict newbies from posting in newly created ANN threads.

I know this thread is for accounts only that are pumping ICO's. I would like to share one ICO that I saw a while ago. If you can see the posters in this ICO, most of them are newbies and jr. members. I believe these are pumping the thread itself.

Okay guys. Let me add one more spammer. This is not an ICO bumping service but still pretty close: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/allmeat27-1597684
The guy is creating multiple absolutely the same threads in different sections of the forum in order to promote his ref link on another website. He also "responds" on his own threads with absolutely the same messages on all his threads (check his post history) which looks more like spam and thread bumping then an actual conversation. Duno if it is bannable but please check him.

Please, let me know if you find a  proper way yo report the ANNs. I asked several times but no success til now.

Most of the accounts are made with the purpose to bump only once one or a few ANNs and then they are abandoned, most likely a bot job.

Don't remember.
I think I reported it as "most likely using payed service to bump topic" or "using bot to bump topic".

Just read this conversation:

Why would anyone even use such tokens? It’s a way more easier to use bitcoin or even etherium for example.
Most people dont even know what bitcoin is! It will take years before regular people will trust things like this, and when it comes to houses, people are very careful.
I think it’s not bitcoin problem, people just a bit scared of the Blockchain technology itself
Blockchain technology combined with smart contracts will be the core engine for the industry. The blockchain provides a mechanism for securing and transferring funds, and supporting the complex multi-party agreements that drive those fund transfers through the use of smart contracts. So this technology is safe to use, I guarantee it.
I still don’t trust blockchain it’s can be easily hacked and I have no idea where the data stores

It looks like prepared questions and answers nonsense.

This is probably much better example, because it is posted in two different announcement threads. You will notice that they are quoting the same accounts over half page:

Example 1:
I have seen some tweets of this project and I wanted to know more about this SSOT. It seems, SSOT team just started this page. I would like to see reviews feedback from people. I will also check whitepaper.

I have participated in their Airdrop and saw some tweets too. This project seems to be great and I have to check the Whitepaper to get more information.

I just heard of the project today and its sad that i missed the Airdrop, i would have loved to be part of that.

Oh, there was an airdrop. I knew I had heard of SSOT before. I think I participated, I am looking forward to the tokens. they will surely be worth a lot of money someday, SSOT will be a long-term project, so i'll keep the airdrop-tokens long

I know about this project few days ago and I was looking for bitcointalk thread but could not find it. Here we go.. We are here and looking forward for whole lot of fruitful discussions about the project. Btw, airdrop was open for quite sometime last week and I am lucky to register for it.

Too bad it was over; I passed through in airdrop alerts site but did not pay much attention to it. Blockchain for medical is innovative; it so makes sense for medical to go blockchain. The team is looking quite sharp too.

I have seen tweet for Phase 3 airdrop of SSOT. This is only for new people who missed phase 1 and phase 2. May be you are already late for that. But you can try.

Healthcare in blockchain is an attractive combination. Many things can be done starting from patient records, track data of tests, hospital workflows, etc.. This could be just a begining.

Example 2:
10 Days to the end of Squeezer Pre-sale token, sold tokens as i type this is 4,041,726 SQZR tokens. What do you guys think of the rate at which sale is going?
So far I think the squeezer pre-sale token is moving at a great pace, squeezer keeps giving the community something to talk about.

For me, the most important thing is that the token sales is moving steadily and it did not come to halt. So thats perfectly fine. I am hoping for reaching the softcap this weekend. Good luck team.

8 days left now with 4,231,763 SQZR tokens sent. Looks like the ico is passed half way now. With a little more pushing i think they will make it. Current times are tough for icos.

What I see that token sale is not paused but going at slow speed than how it initially started. But I think Squeezer will hit hardcap. Will more than a week left.

After a great start in the first hours of the PreSale, the speed of sold Tokens slow down a bit, but the numbers grow steadily. Under these market conditions achieving the hardcap will be a hard job.

Me too noticed the same. The ICO is progressing slowly but steadily. Still they have some days left in their pre-sales. I am looking forward for hitting the soft-cap sooner than later.

Example 3:
Why isn't there 2fa google authentication on the account? I hope they get to implement it soon to tighten up security

Security should really be a thing of great importance and 2fa seem to me like the latest way to add an extra level of security to accounts online. I even know of projects who make 2fa a compulsory action for its members during signup.

Really great suggestion. They should be keep google authentication or something email verification. Its can keep safe to investors from hackers/scammers.

Between Google authenticator and email, I think I will rather vote for 2fa service offered by Google rather than email. But a combination of both will be great though

I like Google Authenticator and 2FA apps like Authy because they keep me secure on my mobile and on my PC, which is essential because there are so many scam attempts in crypto.

Likely they will have both its the same sort of system just ones a nicer frontend (2fa), that said if your still using google authenticator try authy its so much better. Especially when it comes time to move to a new phone or something like that which with the sheer number of 2fa codes lately its sort of bound to be a needed task eventually

Yeah Authy is great, instant back up on your PC if you set up a new 2FA connection on your phone, I'm a big fan of their services and you're right it's great if you need to switch phones or if your in the unfortunate circumstance of losing your phone!

Wow i guess i would start using the authy 2fa authentication app but some sites only request for Google 2fa authentication.

I also agree about more security for account, there are many hackers around. I am using google authentication and its working fine.

I also like the google authenticator very well, the only problem is if your smartphone breaks down and you have a new one. As a precaution you should have printed out all the QR codes. Unfortunately, I always forget that :-)

Yeah me too, misplaced my smartphone of late along without no QR back up code contacted the exchange in questions luckily for me they where able to help rectify my issue after that i ensure to print out all QR codes.

Thanks for the info. I honestly did not even think about a QR backup for google authenticator on my smartphone.

It is Sisyphus work to report these accounts because even if moderator ban them they will just create bunch of new accounts to bump topics.
Unless moderator start to trash topics which are obviously using bump services nothing will change.

OP sorry for long quotes in post.

Stay Dangerous!
Take a look here -  ANN [Pre-Sale]Digitize:A Native Token Digitizing Loose Change for Cryptocurrency

If you take a look after the 2-3 page, the ICO bumping isn't that obvious as the other one's but it's mostly low-level accounts (a lot of newbies with 2-3 posts) posting a useless comment.

Maybe nuke all of the new accounts? I'd say its one guy making accounts every day and posting a comment on the ann.

Temp banned the shills for low value posts for 7 days and permabanned the copypaster.

All temp banned for 7 days.

Hello, a few weeks ago I made a thread to reveal a list of similar ICO pumping accounts. I also tried to report them but I'm not sure whether they are banned or not. Is there a way to check that?

Here is my thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-list-of-spamming-multi-accounts-ban-2821037

There is a list in the thread description and in the first comment.
Will check it out.

Thanks all of you for doing good work.I think I will organise this thread a bit and maybe add some points for regular contributors.

@Joel I was going to update my last post, but making a new post would bump this thread as well.
Which is totally fine.
Also Thank you @mprep for taking quick actions!

Seriously are all the posters in ANN threads ICO pumpers. I found these 4 in just a few minutes of looking.
Lodi0808; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/lodi0808-1244806
sathvik112; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/sathvik112-1275372
wledgewil; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/wledgewil-1275549
coinbitcoin91; https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/coinbitcoin91-1248441

I'll find more later, literally if you even pick out the posters at random, 9 out of 10 posters will turn out to be an ICO pumper.
Temp banned all of them.

If this thread is only for banning ICO pumping accounts, I apologize in advance and the moderator can delete this post.

But, do people actually get banned for breaking the forum rules ? I am reporting people left and right in this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/any-new-airdrop-coins-1438371 . You can literally report every second post, and I do, because everyone is just posting their ref links and scam in general. It's always the same people doing it and some newbie accounts of course. I have reported users dozen times, but they still post their ref links there every day. So whats the point of reporting them, if nothing ever happens (e.g. ban) ?
They do. Just make sure to indicate that it's not their first time doing so in the report as some moderators sometimes forget to check the post history.

Some of them are blatantly copy-pasting the same sentence in various threads and some of them like this guy here have been doing it for a month with no ban. I wonder why nobody has reported this before you.

I guess most people do not really care much or do not have that much time on their hands to bother.

Apologies for the off topic,
I report mostly posts, can I report profiles if I see something suspicious and how? It would be helpful if we get a "report Profile" button, it may reduce the account farming.
Not really. Starting a thread in Meta or PMing one of the global mods and / or admins is the only way to report a user rather than his post or PM AFAIK.

It's a bitcoin discussion thread and some farmers are going off topic in there posting "great project" over and over.
There's already a whole page of newbie - jr. members wishing "good luck" to a project that doesn't exist  Grin

If you're planning to continue reporting them, please update it in a single post and not make a new comment every-time.Also I don't believe those accounts are exactly pumping-alts,they're spammers for sure but not the type of spammers I'm looking to bust in this thread. You can simply use the 'report to moderator' button to have such accounts instantly banned. Thanks for your inputs.

Updated the thread with a few more accounts which are shitposting, bumping threads and most likely alts which talk to each other in the threads. If you also check their post history,it's quite noticeable how they have sequentially posted in one ICO which they are suppose to bump.
Temp bans for the first 2 and a perma ban for the third one.
Thank you so much! This motivates me to keep hunting for more spammers  Smiley

Okay i am going to piggy back ride on this, this is not ICO ban, but i feel there is no need to open new topic, there are a lot of spammers for local boards, something like this this:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/virtonomics-1211941

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/virtonomics-1211941

(Not sure how to write Name(make it hyperlink). But as you can see they just use google translate and spam every local board
Quote me to see how it is done, you could highlight any word or a sentence and then click on Insert hyperlink, and just put = following with your link and write the name instead of beggar.
 [url=h t t p://]beggar[/ url]

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/dzodze-1512278
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/jamesnbailey472-392660 (I should have checked the date)

Not sure about these, but most of their posts do not have any value:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/ericmalik-1454441
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/xwshamim-949159
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/poncawarrior-326042

I think a subforum for newbies and a post limit would somehow improve this situation, because all spam posts would concentrate on one subforum and it would be much easier to track them down.

This is not an ICO pumper, but he is a one-liner obviously farming the account and I’ve just reported him. Most of his replies consist in “I agree with you” and “I think it's possible.”

A few of these accounts ring a bell, and I believed I've reported a few of them multiple times. Even suggested they were bumping threads intentionally in the report. This was like a week ago, maybe two now though, seems they've continued to do so. I know that the reported posts did get deleted, but the moderator must have not agreed that a ban was justified at the time.
The time is now I guess, you can just skim through the post history of those accounts mostly one-liners and inclined towards the ICO's they're suppose to pump.I don't even know why putting a ban on pumping accounts isn't taken seriously yet.

I think it's unfair to the others to single out someone, because I know for a fact Mprep and Ninja (cyrus) does a lot of the deleting when I've reported a few posts. Hilariousandco does a lot of work to as we all know, but gets most of the praise due to him being the most outspoken of the moderators.
I'm not putting it that way,I'm sorry if it seems  it was portrayed that way but no I didn't mean to "un-credit" other moderators.I'm very well aware of Cyrus and mprep's contributions as well. It's just that hilariousandco is easy to approach when you need an immediate action (and that's my personal experience so I could be wrong)

Because nobody cares to report them except a handful of people who strive to keep the forum spam free.On the admin side, hilariousandco is the only one I think who is actively responsible for banning accounts. It should be too much for him to ban those accounts case by case basis.Hence I created a thread where I can filter the shit-posters to make it easy for mods to ban them.

I don’t think hilariousandco is the only one, I'd say mprep bans accounts as well. Hilariousandco is the most active writing here his ideas on how to deal with spammers but that doesn’t mean the others don’t do anything.

What I do when I report someone is to look at their posting history and if I find they should be banned I write it on the report. Something like: “have a look at his shitposting history, he may deserve ban".

Thought I could keep a thread dedicated for reporting accounts which could be banned for shit-posting.I often come across such accounts and usually ignore them or keep procrastinating the 'report to mod' click.By keeping it in one thread it would be easier for me to keep a track and also make it easier for the mods to ban them.I believe these accounts are created to pump ICO threads and or spam threads in any way possible. Most of them are one line posters pumping threads ,definitely don't need them on the forum.
