I only work with two exchanges. Binance Dex and Fordelta. These are truly decentralized exchanges where you can sell your coins. And so the big list is not to get to scammers.

I can honestly see why people go for the bigger names and at least you are going for Delta but Binance is NOT a Dex and there is more info if you read all the comments.

Also i want to let you guys know that the new SwitchDex update it's a crazy upgrade it includes a New UI, tornado.cash integration, gas-free order cancellations, ideal conditions for bots and a downloadable version. And they are still privacy focused and have NOT gave up and start with the regulations despite constant presure. It would be better if you make a list of exchanges for each cryptocurrencies like:
Ethereum DEX: IDEX, Forkdelta, Etherdelta, DDEX
EOS DEX: NewDex, FinDEX
TRON DEX: TRXMarket, TronTrade, Kiwidex
To make it more organized.  Cool

Idex is probably a central Dex because now kyc is required to trade on the DEX. I regard Ddex and Forkdelta as the major true Dex I know on the Ethereum network and Cryptobridge for other chain networks

At first what is your definition of a DEX(Decentralized Exchange) most that you mentioned are claiming they are a true DEX, and im using some of it specially forkdelta since 2017. regarding KYC I think these should be reconsidered. if They are claiming to be a real decentralized exchange (DEX) the exchange should stop collecting any info from its users. if they continue to implement KYC in that case they should stop using the name decentralized exchange or a DEX!

I believe we are slowly losing the real purpose of decentralised exchanges. Why are they needed when even a largest DEX is requiring KYC process now? What is the point on trading on DEX with KYC, instead of just using centralised exchanges?

The biggest problem of all DEXs is the speed of website, transactions and so on.
Also I see a big problem that DEXs do not have support in most cases.

Does switchdex still work? I tried using it few days ago but it doesn't load alot of things. Maybe I didn't know how to use it or something.
It seems there are two types of switchdex, right? Which is the correct one :
https://switchdex.ag/. OR

https://switch.ag/

yea switchdex.ag still works perfectly. You probaly had a bad timing and enter the site on a update.

Switch.ag is a token swap exchange where you can trade instantly tokens, you can also buy giftcards or donate to charity. All of this with the same principles of privacy. No accounts needed and no customer info collected.

Switch is a platform that makes you able to buy ERC20 token instantly using instant swap service but switchdex is a decentralized exchange site that created switch.ag company to provide the decentralized exchange site to the users both are the same service but have a different purpose. switchdex is a dex but switch is a swap token service.

Binance Dex - didn't even want to place it. the only thing that might come from this exchange is that more people gets into dex

Just tried this and it looks like its KYC otherwise I would not have gotten this.

Since the first day I actually started doing crypto things, I used to be using Etherdelta and then I switched to forkdelta and IDEX. So far they are the DEX i can say I have some experience from them,.and moreover, they perform good too.

I updated the list once again, moved exchanges to the C list after researching more and collaboration from a user pointing flaws on some exchanges, also added more exchanges to the list.

From what i gather IDex does comply to the IP Bans taking out the freedom of a dex and DDex has the right to collect users information as shown in their user agreement.

Thoughts? more exchanges?  Reply here and i'll read it. If you got extra info but don't want to post then message me.

I only know 2 DEX that i believe are actually dex or close to it, i'm asking your opinion on what exchanges you think are dex too! Actual dex and not like binance "dex" or others projects we have seen that are just complying to KYC

In my list i got

If you got more please reply and if you can also say why you think it's a dex, i'll also research it and i'll add it to the list.

Thanks!

Updated List:

A tier:

Switchdex.ag - 1 payment feeless trading for like + constant update

Etherdelta - Extremely low fees.

B tier:

Forkdelta - Looks great, worried about the volume does look like the got some fake orders but will research more and it might go to the A Tier

DDEX - I'm not quite sure about this one as how safe it is and if it gathers personal information, got some details i do not like it but respecting the opinions of the commenters you guys trust this one so i place it here until further research.

Token Jar - Good but really Slow

C tier:

Citadel - Quite slow not real dex

IDex - Overall good + Different style - Just learned that looks like they will also comply to the delisting of some alts or something similar to the Binance problem so i'm moving it from a to c, a fall from grace imo.

D tier:

Binance Dex - didn't even want to place it. the only thing that might come from this exchange is that more people gets into dex

Researching these was hard since the amount of PR articles is high, please keep listing your exchanges and if you are new to dex do recommend to stay in the A tier
As for me, Idex is a good exchange.  Clear and user-friendly interface.  It is necessary to get used to and understand trading on this exchange, and everything is fine and I have been using trading on it for a long time.

By true DEX can still be attributed Bisq https://bisq.network/. But it works only in a pair of BTS/USD. And as already mentioned, IDEX recommended itself well (good volumes and support).
And of course BarterDEX from Komodo.

Don’t be surprise that Binance DEX will overtake all these ones we have mentioned, and I really do not believe that Binance DEX will represent the true DEX.

They are not the actual DEX because they seem to have their own regulation, they are blocking some countries, but no doubt Binance DEX overtake the existing real DEX due to its popularity.

Yes, Binance DEX is able to shift their position because Binance DEX has good capabilities. I think it's good to exchange the next DEX.

They are using their popularity in expanding their business, but like they previously announce, some countries are not allowed from using the said exchange, that could be a little downside of the exchange, it's not the DEX that people are expecting to look.

sincerely. i don;t use dex platforms. they are not familiar to me and i just don;t like the idea that i hace to share my private key with an exchange for trading. the centralized ones work perfectly well for me and i am okay with that. most dex are very hard to make sales.

I think I know of IDEX  but I have not heard of the second one before, the only 2 DEX that I know are more popular are folkdelta and etherdelta, these ones still got dome popular coins being traded on them though not much which is still the problem of DEXexchanges now.

You don’t find your favorite coins to trade on DEX other than decentralized exchanges, I don’t know why people choose to always operate under a third party platform and yet we clamor for peer to peer system. Don’t be surprise that Binance DEX will overtake all these ones we have mentioned, and I really do not believe that Binance DEX will represent the true DEX.

You can simply google it, because there are much more decentralised exchanges live that are on your list. Pay your attention to the new trend that Binance has prepared for us. Their new DEX is going to be huge!

You are correct i can simply google something like that and a bunch of scams are probably going to come out, that's why we have this community so we can share thoughts. Good luck waiting for you binance "DEX" Exchange i'll just go and stay with what i believe are actual DEX

I believe there's a lot of decentralized exchange in the market, but the problem is only few are trusted.
Honestly, I don't trust them in general but sometimes when I have no choice, I have to use them, of all the decentralized exchange available, I only experience using IDEX and Etherdelta.
These are 2 popular dex and many users. but the trading volume on it is very low. perhaps because users do not trust such decentralized dex.
Generally speaking, virtually all DEX exchanges we are familiar with all have very low volumes and I dint think it is completely because people do not trust them, there are many people that are actually willing to use DEX exchange any day and anytime, but they being drawn back from them because of the popularity of some of these centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex and Huobi, which is taking people’s attention from DEX exchange.

The more people don’t pay attention to most of the DEX exchanges, we will really expect them to record very low volume which will always be another thing discouraging potential users.

Binance has proven to not be a real dex with all the info that it's going on. I know binance is the god exchange but they got too much power and are conceding to a bunch of options that CAN'T be on a DEX. So please don't post about binance dex like i posted on the op.

I'll be updating the list soon, there are a lot of options of course i have to dig in and read  about them.

That’s also my perception on most of the decentralized exchange aside from having low volumes, they are usually compose of shitcoins. I don’t have any experience on decentralized exchanges since I’m only using Binance but I’m also planning to use their own dex. Better to update the OP for the list of DEX that we can trust, to easily know what to look for.

I know some of Ethereum DEX exchanges. The most used DEX is IDEX, then Forkdelta/Etherdelta.
Another DEX for other coin is : CryptoBridge, there are many coins listed there. Another DEX for Waves : Wavesdex.
IDEX is the only decentralized exchange of which I would trust. in the future, I think Binance dex will be the leader

Of all DEXes, I prefer to use IDEX, perhaps because it is the only decentralized exchange I am conversant with.
I was opportune to use Allbit once for a purpose. I decided not to use it again because it was asking for KYC from non-Koreans, which is contrary to my general believe of what decentralized exchanges are.

Thanks for the links. I haven't heard most of them honestly. I only used etherdelta, forkdelta, waves dex, CB, & idex so far.  I didn't know that there are a lot of dexs that are existing already. At least we have so many options to choose now but not all tokens or coins that we're looking for can be found in one of these exchanges only.
I haven't used most of them too but those list tells that we have a lot of decentralized exchange out there. And if you are too curious about DEX's you can try each of them and experience what has the best feature for you. Those aren't just the DEX in the market now, I know that many are not included to list and what's surprising there are still projects that are focused with building up their DEX too. The competition for DEX's is too tough and even centralized ones are making their own.

Openledger and Citadel are the ones I have used before.  Most of the DEX I have been are not really that friendly user and the pages loads very slow. Non of the DEX so far has listed some TRX and EOS tokens which is quite frustrating because its easy to add ERC on dexes.
Still few users even after years of existence, if maybe all the centralized exchanges are hacked, we will start using dex.

There are exchanges that built on Bitshares network, and some of them turned into dead DEXes. Remember that there are some disadvantages fo DEXes, and users have to self-secure their private keys or seeds more carefully. Losing private keys or seeds and backups of such stuffs will cause account and money. DEXes don't support users to get private keys or seeds back.
