Good list, but maybe you should add ECHT
I think that will give a good profit not only for investors but also for users. They have ready app "Echat" crypto-messenger, that available in all countries, support a lot of finance multi-currency functions and multi-app sharing.

Those are quite a good list of best altcoins to hold for long term. I think you should also add bitcoin cash on the list, since it is the most known forked version of btc at the moment and will somehow have ups and downs whenever btc price moves. Besides it, I think Omisego is one of the best coins to hold beside those already in the list. It is currently undervalued ATM like waves and it will soon go to the moon if one will be patient enough to hold it. don't forget these coin

There are too many atcoins but most of the coin is very massive for hold as like ETH, SWP, CTX, Waves, LTG and finally Bitcoin is a best for long tram hold .
better to add STEEM, SBD, Ripple, NEM, BTG, BCC & etherium classic.

For short term, any coin can be bought that can give profit, that doesn't matter much. But for long term, IOTA and ethereum are the best coins.
I think long-term and short-term are the same because there's no Cryptocurrency that are best for any terms of time for investment. It's up to people and investors if they will make money after a month, a year or a decade. It depends.
Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, NEO, LiteCoin, Monero and other top Altcoins are all for either short term or long term. There's no difference actually.
