Please inform me if this has been done before.

I'll maintain this thread by listing and linking the most informative videos that describe Bitcoin as well as those which put it in a good light.

I'll start with the most recent, of which I think you'll agree is a damn good one.

Quote provided below is in reference to the Trace Mayer video.

We literally bumped into Trace Mayer of www.HowToVanish.com and www.RunToGold.com. He made it to Vegas for Freedom Fest. We discussed a very interesting new phenomena that may possibly become the new gold standard of currencies, BitCoin. This is an open source currency that is extremely flexible, resistant to inflation and completely anonymous. It is a store of wealth and a medium of exchange and its popularity appears to be rapidly increasing. We had heard of it before, but dismissed it as a noble effort to help people escape the tyranny of central banks. But it has continued on and increased in value from 5 cents per BitCoin to $7.70 in just a few short years. And its acceptance appears to be increasing as well. It's spreading worldwide, with more and more merchants accepting it as payment, at a variety of locations. We're going to investigate the BitCoin phenomena further and report back.

Go to http://www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com for the latest info on the economy and precious metals markets.

I don't think this awesome thread belongs in the Off-Topic section.  Wink
It should go to Bitcoin Discussion or even Press (maybe a sticky on top?).

IIRC this kind haven't been done yet.

That being the case, why don't we wait to see more posts on the subject, thus allowing the list to grow. Thanks for the input, John.

Going by the comments at youtube, Bitcoin is going to take a long time to convince the narrow minded.

edit: lecture on Bitcoin - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NULPfp0Zu5g

I just viewed the entire video and do feel it merits being added to the list, in spite of its title. The video must be viewed in its entirety to truly appreciated it.
