thanks for the advice. i havent used proxy servers before. Have you heard of namebench? it is a software that enhances internet connection by connecting it to best available regional DNS servers. That's what i am using today.

are the lists secured proxy servers??
some are https, is this what you mean?If you want higher security you can make a chain of proxies using http://proxychains.sourceforge.net/ (Unix) or http://proxifier.com/documentation/v3/chain.htm (Windows). I wouldn't recommend doing online banking or reading your personal email by proxy though
For those who don't know proxies, you can use proxies to test your website speed from other locations/countries. All internet traffic goes through another computer.
