Hi y'all  Smiley   Mining is very attractive right now while we see how the market is doing right now. We keep mining now and when everything will go moonshots, we get the benefits.

So my question is: What's the best x11 algorithm coin to mine right now? And what's the best for value and efficiency hardware miner to use now?

Good Thread but needs to be brought more current imo
can anyone well versed compile a complete list of current X11 Coins / Tokens Please
Thanks -

Here is a small sample of what's out there.

If there are others that I have missed - please feel free to reply to this block and keep it going.

Also - my suggestion to anyone who bought a D3 (such as myself) after it was profitable, let's unite and move on some of these coins that show potential.

Myriad is multi-algo - the first coin to implement 5 simultaneous hash functions. Unlike Bitcoin, which can only be profitably mined using SHA256d ASICs, Myriad is open to SHA256d ASICS, Scrypt ASICS, GPUs & CPUs.

Dont see anything about X11 on this list of hashing algos for Myriad....

x11 will be the most popular in summer.

Only if the market cap of DARK and other X11 coins rises to sustain the GPU mining crowd. That's one reason for GPU miners to be bullish on DARK actually. It's necessary to keep their own mining profitable.

looks like a "lighter" version of dark coin as it uses dns nodes, dark send, dark gravity wave.... Will mine tho xD 10 min block rewards are kinda long and you have to factor there is a 2% premine!

X11 is great because it accomplishes what others do, but at a far more efficient way.  When this is expanded to include an nvidia miner, it will be another big win.
Scrypt Asic does it even better!

Let me know how your scrypt asic does with x11 algo...

Hi I am new to x11 what mining programs support it? Also what is x11 algo designed to do where can I find info on the design and technical information.

Just glad there is something new. So sick of the amount of scrypt coins that are all clones coming out that have no value added whatsoever.

Copy and Paste clone coins.

They're all going to slowly die out...

...unless somthing new comes along and breaks the foundation that BTC has planting. All these alts are having a very rough time mounting up to anything close to BTC/LTC. If ANY coin is going to make it, it's going to have to be something that increases productivity of miners and has the financial backing/store acceptance that allows it to be spent and utilized in real world applications. There are very few alts that i think have potential.

X11 is great because it accomplishes what others do, but at a far more efficient way.  When this is expanded to include an nvidia miner, it will be another big win.

We don't need more X11 coins though (or more coins in general), or we will end up in the same boat as before with scrypt where the market is over saturated and there is not enough money coming in to spread around. We need to focus on the couple we have now so they can get bigger and more popular, if we can all concentrate on only a few coins it will be better for everyone.

Hi I am new to x11 what mining programs support it? Also what is x11 algo designed to do where can I find info on the design and technical information.
It's basically utilizing the cryptos from quark and qubit in one chain, which combined are 11 different cryptos.

quoted from Darkcoin's ANN thread:

Check out Muniti, Malta's national cryptocurrency based on the X11 algo. Following the successful launch, we have great things in store. Net hashrate is already over 2.6Gh/s. Read more about us:

Smooth launch indeed! Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Also an upcoming coin for Quebec is being released utilizing the X11 algorithm too.

Now X11 seems to be a good algorithm that can resist ASIC.

its only resistant because no ASIc has been made for it. Thats what many people don't seem to know. I myself, a HIRO supporter, didn't know that. Nonetheless, I still will be mining HIRO as summer down in the south SUckS.

If a coin can run in a GPU miner => it can be ASICed. This includes scrypt, scrypt-n, quark, x11, etc etc.

And so much more! I Don't understant why not more People found their way to x11 coins yet.
To many people only check how much btc/mh they get for mining a coin without taking in account the electricity bill.  I will stay at x11, less electricity, quiter, cooler gfx cards.

With scrypt i pay around 350 €/month for electricity  while with x11 it be 200€

LOL

I never tried X11 algo till yesterday...

And man oh man... If this is the future.. I'm one happy man... Just the sound reduction of the GPU's is incredible! I can actually sit here in my "miningoffice" without all the loud zooming of the gpufans...

With scrypt I have 1 miner with leftovercards... (lol)
1x 6950 (normal clocks)
1x 5870 (normal clocks)

running at 450watts (psu max is 450watts) When I overclock with scrypt... the machine turns off due the lack of power...
However... with this X11... I can overclock.. and the machine stays stable...

Overall I have to say I really like this...  Cool

Hey Barry.
You don't wanna be running a PSU @ max power draw 24/7. Aside from the loss in efficiency, it'll die really quickly.
Look to invest in another PSU asap, aim to have power draw ~50% max sustained draw of the PSU and not over 70%.
Make sure to get a decent one as well; Corsair, Enermax, Seasonic. I used to have Be Quiet on the list but just had one die on me the other day and they've yet to reply to warranty request after 2 day, so I've suspended their recommendations for now Smiley

LOL.. I know man...  thing is I got a bulk 450watts psu last year for 0.2btc (30 psu's) LOL.. Cleaned them all... Till today not 1 is broken.. "fingers crossed" Tongue

My other miners have PSU splitters in it so I can always add/remove some... This example is my "leftover" miner lol
So i dont care if one breaks down... But thanks for the information... will be usefull in the future maybe  Smiley

You don't know how great silence is until you start to mine coins using X11...  Of course not to mention the lower heat, energy, etc, etc.   Don't know how I can go back to mine ScryptN or other variants after mining X11.
