As far as I know, you should contact Coinmarketcap and provide the information they need.
But they list coins and tokens more carefully now and check several times before listing.

What is the fastest and cheapest way to get listed on an exchange so coinmarketcap will show you?
There is no fastest way to be listed on the exchange site. The majority of exchange site will try to ask you a lot of requirements. This is really important to make sure you are not wanna listing your shitcoin.
it needs so many times. i guess you should pay million dollars for that.

The fastest and cheapest would be to get listed on ForkDelta(either you can apply through a PR or through creating an issue in their Github repo) and then make sure you have a daily volume of around $50K consistently and after that you can apply to coinmarketcap.

Ofcourse, if you have capital, you can approach other exchange where more users would be present rather than in dex.

I do not think listed on exchange is the only requirement to show up on coinmarketcap. It should also be on one of the exchange supported by coinmarketcap. However the most important criteria is the trading volume. It should've a trading volume greater than I believe 10k USD (if i remember correctly but you can check it on coinmarketcap).
