It's not the first time that LiteCoin has been this way, it hasn't gone up for a long time, and then it suddenly has a couple of days, it's going to go up very fast, and then it's going to go down in a couple of days and it's going to go down again in the last few days, and it's the same with the previous LiteCoin.

It seems that it was like a dump & pump situation in there.

I didn't had any litecoins at the moment of the pump, so i am not worried about them because i do not have any on my wallet.

I'm happy for the run, but to have dropped from nearly $400 to about $275 now seems a little more than a correction compared to other coins that go on a run.

But yeah, i heard about of people who bought at $350 - $370 because they thought that it was going to be hitting more than $500 before the end of the week.

Poor of them, now they have less than 30% of what they invested in there.

Use stop loss instead. because btc will pump soon. dont lose your money in the market or hold it for the next pump. i think satoshi lite will have an upcoming good news and time for you to buy the dip.

Litecoin is the best fork Bitcoin. Even if there is some falls with it this coins will continue to grow with the growth of whole cryptocurrency market. Litecoins lay on foundation of this business.

Is anyone puzzled, like me, about the amount in which Litecoin retreated after it's run this week?  I'm happy for the run, but to have dropped from nearly $400 to about $275 now seems a little more than a correction compared to other coins that go on a run.

I guess I'm also a little biased as I feel real strongly for its speed and economical value.  I just don't see why it's not the 2nd or 3rd coin.

Anyone have any thoughts?
It price on BTC as many users use LTC to transfer their BTC worth.

Now that doesn't make any sense... It price on BTC? Care to explain that?

If you're trying to say what I think you're trying to say, you're trying to say this: "It follows the price trends of BTC, as many users use LTC to transfer the monetary value they have in BTC."
Now that clears it up a bit, but is quite strange... Indeed, many users like to transfer LTC instead of BTC to avoid high transaction fees and having to wait long for the transaction to go through, but I don't get why that would make it rise from $100 to $350 & drop to $270... That's not a logical explanation for this event at all..

Care to elaborate on your reasoning? I don't understand it.

Lightcoin surprised me very much. I bought it when it cost $50 and sold at $150  Sad
I did not expect such rapid growth. Lightcoin is promising coin and it will be only growth.

Litecoin creator said that it may crash to $30-40 like crashing from aht to $4, he said that he waits multi year bear market.

he did friqqin not stop misquoting him. He said if you can't handle that happenin you should not invest. meaning; if you plan to panic sell when it drops down a bit you'd better not get into litecoin to begin with, never did he say that it will crash to 30-40 or that he expects that.

At the beginning of this week I think the same that LTC will burst and continue until the end of the year, but they can not last long and fall dip.
It seems that investment in LTC is no longer a lucky one, it is not a correction but other coins are preparing to move forward. The logical reason, some groups intentionally manipulates do this with pump this week and take fast profit, later they leave this coin, nothing can hold this fall. This is common with others altcoins.

Even $275 is not a bad price for litecoin, few weeks before the litecoin price was $60.Yeah it maybe a price correction after huge price bump but soon litecoin will recover from it and continue to rise.Yeah as you said litecoin maybe in the 3rd place after ethereum so I hope soon it will grab its place in crypto market.Maybe Litecoin will make big price growth in 2018 so I don't want to sell my litecoin now.I am just holding it for longer run and I expect litecoin will reach $5K or more in couple of years.

It usually happens because the price is correcting, but it won't last long. People, especially traders will use this time to buy more litecoins because the price is down. It will again increase but you have to wait for some time. The near 400 USD peak shows the possibility of how high the price can go in just a short time. Increase your liitecoin holdings today, it might jump high in the next few days/weeks.

After this growth, he certainly needs to sink. Its maximum price was somewhere in the region of $ 350. And how wrote he did it in 3 only. Guess now would be a 50% retracement in the area of $ 200 will go.
If you are a litecoin investors are advised to subscribe to founder Charlie Lee. He always gives good comments. And by the way when the growth continued, he warned investors that if they can't survive a drop to $ 20 is not worth it to invest in litecoin

I'm not puzzled at all. Was able to get out at the top price because I'm really expecting a price retreat days ago, that's why I excited and happy I made a good call. The main reason I get out because for a simply reason that it's not gonna be sustainable for long term. It's just a short burst fuel by lot of positive news but soon it will lay down. And after a really strong rally, most likely consolidation is taking place, but around $210-$250.

I guess I'm also a little biased as I feel real strongly for its speed and economical value.  I just don't see why it's not the 2nd or 3rd coin.

I agree, behind bitcoin and ethereum, litecoin should be there among the top. Again, people tend to forget about this coin, bitcoin upward trend trickled to the altcoins market and litecoin is one of the recipient but we are already seeing a pullback and correction. So for me, its not a good time to get it unless the pullback went to <$200.

Nearly 400? i think 340-350 was the highest? and the lowest it hit since then is aproxx 250, that's not bad tbh, me and many other people expected it to go as low as 250, some people even expected 200.. seems quite normal to me, gotta remember that it went from 100 to 300 in just 3 days..

i bought some at 290 so obviously i would love to see it rise again lol, but i think it will be fine, it went as low as 250 at 03:00 UTC that was the occasion to buy; just one hour after after it jumped to 280. If u check reddit u will see that many people put buy orders at 250; it was expected to go that low. The way it looks now is that it will slowly increase again; i think 300 dollar today isn't farfetched...
