Get this people.. i am not really against the idea of an ANON coin or Dark Markets.
I know it's hard to believe LOL
I am saying all of this to keep the hounds off the Dark Market guys.
You all should not be bringing more "heat" on them.. with more & more anon coins.

And i don't mind the anon coin concept so much but i just KNOW damn well it is going to cause problems.
I am trapped having to be honest even though the rebel in me would rather root for the dark market guys.

You should take a look at that. In that post, made 8 months ago - before Monero and other confidential enabled coins became popular - two developers commented that they found great interest in confidential transactions and may develop this.

Common misconceptions

• Confidential Transactions will be optional - only recommended for advanced users
• We do not want to hard fork, and a HF would be a worse case scenario.
• Confidential Transactions only allow for coin sent amount to be hidden - another service such as CoinJoin (non-protocol level) must be used for complete anonymity.
• The development team are only in early stages, and more work and information will be announced when available. Anything mentioned can change at any time.

The developers are not working on the project to make money for the traders. Cryptocurrency traders are free to do as you wish.

LTC was on my radar for the next very big incoming pump, anyway.
They can't just sit and wait and let it happen anywhere else.
This announcement brings me much closer to a decision to start buying some.

I think LTC deserves to reclaim it's place as #2 coin
but.. i don't like the idea of adding an ANON feature to it.

I also want to point out that it was never abandoned..

..if they are going to add an "Anonymous" Feature / Option.

I don't see genuine support brewing lately over LTC
I see just greedy idiots trying to capitalize on the ANON concept for profit.
Since Monero got a little bit of attention as Ethereum was pissed on with bad drama
we NOW coincidentally see Litecoin guys pop up with a me-too ANON plan.

If you guys did not want to support Litecoin BEFORE ?
Then what difference does it make if they add an ANON feature now after all years ?
And why is it i never heard of 1 single person in all of crypto mention adding anon to LTC before ?
You would think if it is wanted it would have been mentioned before right ?

This is a very exciting time for litecoin. This will prove all those "LTC is dead" threads wrong. I believe it will be good to start buying litecoins slowly again. There could be something serious brewing with Charlie Lee's plans if he can get his brother Bobby Lee and Bitcoin China involved in it. This will be one big pump back to 2nd place in market capitalization.

We have a well accepted innovation plan. But execution is surely the most important part! So we are now focusing on coding, and Charlie Lee will lead. Updates will be published frequently. As usual, C++ programmers are welcome to join! Let's make Litecoin even more awesome! Guys, stay tuned!
