It's not dead. I think it will celebrate a huge comeback when it finally arrives at MtGox. There are also some other exchanges in the work like http://coinmkt.com/ .

Dying? No. Looks like it's just returning to its previous norm. I expect we'll see it fall to 0.022 BTC/LTC soon. The price over the last few weeks was inflated due to the MtGox news.

I think it could be a combination of MtGox hype stagnation along with the recent issue with the DHS and MtGox/Dwolla.
