Is there a lot of work that needs to be done to the site to add it?

Will they have to buy a initial supply of coins to sell when its launched? How does that work?

What happened to ETH when it got listed on there? Did price jump right away or did it take time?

Trying to get any info that's out there about it. Thx
This would've been added years ago if they cared to. ETH jumped! just like you said in about one or two months. It was quick.

According to kraken they have "no plans" to add XEM at this time even though they still have crap like dogecoin listed on their exchange. Kind of frustrating... delist doge, add NEM.. the top 10 coins should be on your exchange. Get it done.

Coinbase, being the most reputable exchange, I can understand them only doing top 5 market cap coins.   These exchanges move as slow as the government at implementing important changes and customer service.. if I was running these things I'd be doing a lot of the work myself, personally, if I didn't have the staff to get it done.

There's no reason changes like this should drag on for months or years....

LTC has been available on GDAX for sometime. GDAX is the exchange owned by coinbase. Coinbase recently applied for and received a  licence to allow selling/buying of LTC in New York state. I'm expecting to see it on Coinbase before the end of May.

According to Charlie Lees twitter. Himself and the Ceo of coinbase said that will 100% be adding it to the main site with ETH and BTC.

Most people pay their taxes so that should have nothing to do with it. Should not be an issue unless you are a criminal tax evader. Hope you aren't trying to get away with not paying taxes. That usually doesn't end well for people.

because i think it's related to the IRS, coinbase is in conjuction with them they must first see if litecoin deserve to be there as a currency, they can't just add any shit coin that have value, there must be some consultance first, but i also find strange that they waited for a pump to take in consideration litecoin, litecoin was not released yesterday, should have been there many years ago with bitcoin
