After what VISA did to Bitwala, Xapo and others several months ago, I don't know why Litepay thought that they could launch using VISA.
I mean, Bitwala and others have switched to Mastercard - so why didnt Litepay?
It makes me think this whole thing was simply an opportunity to pump litecoin, and there is nothing in the Litepay story, it's never going to launch.

which means, IMHO, at this point in time..the ONLY type of card they probably could float thru a bank is a DEBIT card..not even from a MAIN credit card
maker like Visa/Discover/Master Card/etc...thus it would be a HIGH FEE DEBIT bank card...likely, not really worth doing..in that there are a few such card
schemes out there already. The fees kill the concept ...
So....there only real option is to go the BITPAY route....on that they COULD do, IMHO, would have been better though if Bitpay would have just teamed with
LTC team in the first place...but even (as far as I know) Bitpay only has the platform and does not have a sensible rate credit/debit card either and they have
had 3 years plus (is it) to try...
thus the road will be long, no worse than before they tried to do this...but IMHO VISA cut them off at the knees a few months ago when facebook stopped
crypto ads and all those banks said they would not take credit card payments with crypto....so we should have seen this train coming.....like they were gonna
make an exception for Litecoin? er not...
good to know we have the credit card companies and the banks all freaked out about this attempt thou..that was fun...

Litecoin Litepay Launch: Feb 26th 2018. Has anyone got contacted yet?
I've signed up to be informed...but so far nothing.....also NO word on the exact time it will launch on Monday 2/26/28.
This thread is for WHEN the balloon goes up and also any info on how the signup works for the card and other stuff.
