I put out 37kH/s with my i7 2320

Try minerd.exe run with --threads 3 when your using your computer --threads 4 when your asleep

I am running 3 threads with a scantime of 6, while using my computer (watching anime on netflix). I still get around 20 kH/s. If I switch to 3 threads while I am using my computer will my hash rate go up?

Might want to switch to GPU if you have a decent one though, most of them will mine faster than even the best CPUs

I have an ASUS Gaming Laptop, it uses Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics, which I am not sure is compatible. I tried using my GPU with Reaper, and it caused my computer to lock up and freeze. Is there a way to get around this problem? I am currently using my CPU with litecoin wallet's built in miner.

Could do Feathercoin. The difficulty is currently much lower and it's gaining in popularity / value.

My pool is a 0% fee PPLNS pool http://ftc.d2.cc

I just noticed this on BTC-E along with talk about CNC or China Coin. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I will go with either of those since currently BTC and LTC are the most profitable, and once LTC gains support for USD conversion, the price will skyrocket. and since LTC is easier to mine, thats what I am currently doing. Others that I have seen that are doing decent, are RUR and NVC, but I am still unsure of those as well.

So this is making me wonder something now. At this rate of LTC generation, what would be a good Auto Payment Threshold? Currently I have it set to 10 since it has to be >1.00

10 LTC / 0.05 LTC a day = 200 days to receive a new payment

10 LTC * 3.5 $ per LTC = 35 $

You can get 0.05 LTC per day: http://www.wemineltc.com/usercalc.php

That's 18 dollar cents per day.

Among other available calculators, try this one.  Of course this does not count electricity costs, etc.

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc

Auto Payment Thresholds are generally the minimum amount of *coin needed before an automatic payment will be made.

Cheers!

Thanks mate, this helped a lot. I live with my parents right now until I can find a place of my own again. So the good thing about that is I don't need to worry about electricity bills. Also, according to that site, at 20 kH/s at my current difficulty of 31, I can generate 0.64 per day, which isn't too bad. At a total of 19 per month, its a decent amount. Unless of course I use the pools difficulty and not my set difficulty which then makes 0.05 per day or 1.5 per month.

... and I am mining at roughly 20 kH/s on my Intel Core i5...

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, what is the Automatic Payment Threshold? What does this do?
with these hasrate you will make 0,05 LTC per day. Search for 'litecoin calculator' to find some calculators like these one.

Hello, I am a new user here, so I am not sure if there is a current thread on this or not, but I am mining litecoins, and I am mining at roughly 20 kH/s on my Intel Core i5-3230m CPU with 4 cores each with 2.6 ghz and 3.2 turbo. I am not sure how to activate my turbo. What I am wondering is about how many litecoins will I be able to mine per day with my current hash rate? My pool is pooledbits.com and their site can be found here: http://ltc.pooledbits.com/

Thank you for your time.
