Litecoin is pump and dump nonsense.
Time will actually tell as I am seeing litecoin in two best altcoin performance in 2017. The coin has a bullish trend since the beginning of last two months and currently one of the best crytocurrency to invest! It will be unfair to me if litecoin did not reach $100 this year. Litecoin is under value currently comparing it to others crytocurrency of it age and we hope this trend continue for a long time.
Litecoin is the best performing coin when the markets crash (it looses the least against the USD) and it bounces back the quickest when the markets recover. Am I right in thinking Litecoin is the only bullish coin left in this bearish climate? And with the Bitcoin August 1st issues, Litecoin might really go up in the hundreds... Time will tell...
if bitcoin succeeds in 1 of august, I do not think that there will be space for litecoin to develop because people will only focus on bitcoin and buy more and more bitcoin for their future purpose. Litecoin is great but people still prefer bitcoin to litecoin I believe OP is referring to price not usage.
Litecoin price is stronger than most others and not too much down from highs. Ditto for Dash too.

If you are looking at 30 or 7 days performance, than yes, litecoin has performed much better, but if you search more coins maybe you will find something that performed even better than litecoin in the last 30 days.
Litecoin price usually follow rise and fall of bitcoin price. It not best performing coin then, bitcoin is since it control every other coins future.
I don't think litecoin will follow bitcoin check current trend lotecoin 48$ + but bitcoin is going down so it's really doing well coin in current trend all other coin in bearish litecoin only going bullish.
