Gaining the price will always take some time but due to downtrend, many people will panic more about their holding the coins prices will go down ever lower value. We need to be very careful when the prices are going down which it is not a good way to sell them for cheap prices.

LTC is a nice project I think it is a good alternative for boggling bitches. I think LTC is one of the most beautiful projects that have done the same logic after Bitcoin. The $ 500 level can be seen in the near future.

Right now we are in mainstream hype stage for whole crypto currency world. Market is not acting rational. New people attack and buy whatever they see cheaper than Bitcoin with no technical knowledge or analysis. I don't think it will go down until this hype pass. I think it's risky to short it now, the hype is still alive.

This thread is a great reminder of were we were then about some few months ago. Litecoin is currently trading above $300 and this week Litecoin has made a great leaps in price. We hope this bullish momentum or upward trends continue as it seemed litecoin is aim to touch $500 before end of this year.

Why is everyone knocking LTC so much.

Its no less valuable than bitcoin. If bitcoin can exist then why not litecoin. Its a matter of choice that people have and i think its a very good thing, gives people options.

For daytrading it's profitable (probably the only reason why it's still there), but in the long-term, it will just shade away.

But really. I would be more that glad to buy it. When price only meter from what that litecoin king will say.. And in other hand there is such a massive things which can push it down, so buying it becomes so risky.

It's worth noting that the sharp recovery from last Friday's low of $33.56 ran out of steam around the downward sloping 50-SMA, where prices have now formed a lower high.

The relative strength index (RSI) remains bearish. The rally from $33.56 lacked substance/buying pressure, as suggested by the decline in the average true range (ATR) – a volatility indicator that reveals the degree of interest or disinterest in a move.

A bearish reversal with an increase in ATR shows strong selling pressure. The ATR is showing signs of life, which means the sell-off in litecoin could gather pace.

The price chart also shows a bearish crossover (short-term moving average cuts long-term moving average from above) between 50-SMA and 200-SMA.

Good call. Other traders on tradinvview agree with the short. Im not shorting because I generally never short (crypto markets are too crazy, anything can change and you can lose a lot of money) but if everything goes as normal it should keep going lower.

The only good fundamentals I see for LTC right now is the testing of atomic swaps with other coins, not sure if that can generate enough bull pressure to stop this.

bitcoin could also fall a lot. quite risky to hold both. if you still hold bitcoin, at 3870 where it's last bastion before moving to , techicaly, 1700-1800, (i would hold all above ,and dropped under 3870.)
