haha I'm in the same boat.. Started out with LTC, just because I wanted to get it rolling, but think I'm gonna switch over to DOGE tonight Cheesy

Anyone recommend a pool? So far, the LocalMiners one looks pretty solid... Suggestions anyone?

Thanks!

I've been continuing to have the same debate daily, with Dogecoin typically winning out as of yet since it's continued to show higher return that Litecoin when selling short term. That said, I tend to believe that Litecoin represents higher potential if holding onto them for a longer term, though even then it currently is slightly better to mine Dogecoin and exchange to Litecoin, no?

It's not 90 billion, there is 25 billion out now and I think 110 billion total ever. Psychologically this will be the only crypto to go mainstream. Nobody will want to shell out 50 grand for a millibitcoin. But 50 grand for a million doge? Sign me up!
Yes, my bad. Not 90, but only 25 bilions doges (dogs? ) today. Still...
BTW if someone likes much of somethink for little, I think he/she should consider Zimbabwean dollars or grains of sand.

Haha, I lol'ed a bit Grin

That is completely untrue. You have to remember that those are just numbers. It is what you can buy with the currencies that sets the value(in the future) 0.00000001BTC is one Satoshi. I'll gladly pay 1 Satoshi for my coffee. How many issued units has nothing to do with the value except for this; the more coins issued, the less each coin is worth, i.e, the less goods you can buy with each unit. Look at it like this; BTC is the hundred dollar bill, doge is the penny.

The dogecoin is one weird clusterfuck of deliberately poor English and marketing, I'd stay away from it myself but then again I haven't done a huge amount of research, the overall supply of coins I'm seeing though is already enough to keep me away.

OK, suppose you get or mine yours 100K, or even millions of doges. So what, when there are almost 90 billions today?

It's not easy to decide what to mine now for best profit.
LTC is safe for newbie who need more time to join the rash.
Doge or smt for future.

Personally I don't. Never did in the first place, because it is nothing more than a funny meme and it brings no new innovation. But you can make money of it for sure. Will you mine to become rich in the future or to sell it asap? BTC can be compared to USD, DOGE can be compared to the yoyo.

Doge coin is the only coin with a future. When China closes Huobi and bitcoin crashes, doge coin will be the only crypto safe haven. Bitcoin will always be more valuable, but doge coin is the only crypto that will ever be used as a mainstream currency. Bitcoin will be like your gold investment, but doge coin will be what you pay the bar tab with.

mine some dogecoins for some stock while diff. is low, when you got few millions let them wait for better rates and with such m/hs rate go for litecoin !

I'm new to this whole mining game.  I'm trying to figure out if there is much point mining dogecoin or not.  I have a 4m/h setup which rekons I can get 100,000 coins/day out of it.  I'm now just trying to do the maths and working out if this is more profitable than mining for litecoin or now

I'm in it for the sheer speculation and in the hope that these coins become real and start knocking on the door of the real stuff like USD and GBP
