What's the purpose of posting this here, is it to give hope to those who got scam by Livecoin that they will eventually get their payment, if you got your payment then just shut up you are lucky to get yours, thousands are still waiting to get theirs so don't give them false hope, or try to clear Livecoin's name, people might think you are a paid shill here

I lost a lot on Livecoin hack before and I will never trust again nor hope that they will settle all there balance to there customer. I was force to use that exchange since they are the only exchange that my coin been listed and it was a bad experience to use that for the first time.

Don't ever use that exchange even how many good testimonials from newbie account here.

This is obviously a modus of Livecoin. And this modus effectively takes away the tiniest of doubt left in me that what actually happened was an exit scam.

I used to trade on Livecoin, had some funds there and experienced no single glitch all throughout my stay. That is why I didn't call the exchange scam. When a controversy hit Livecoin on this forum a year or two ago, I even thought that it wasn't Livecoin's entire fault at all. I forgot the name of the complainant but I followed it a bit closely and I thought Livecoin's integrity remained generally intact.

Until the recent event took place, followed shortly by a bunch of newbies springing forth claiming they've been fully or partially refunded and that Livecoin is still to be trusted.

Lol, that's the first thing I thought when I read the above post. It's like me saying I can't stand trading on Cryptsy anymore.

I'm convinced that all of those newbies claiming they got a 50% refund were shills (I wasn't convinced at first given Livecoin's supposed explanation of why those noobs were making those posts), and logically that means OP is full of shit too. I haven't heard from any member here with any kind of reputation that's vouched for any repayment, so that speaks loud and clear that Livecoin pulled an exit scam, plain and simple.

Yep, they're definitely sockpuppets. And I do hope the folks who got scammed learned a lesson from this, which would be not to store coins on an exchange--especially a small, unregulated one like Livecoin.

I suspected that this is one of their requirements to be able to get the refund, I saw someone else here making a thread and admit that one of the livecoin staff to them to create a thread before they will claim a half refund or 50% of their overall fund. But unfortunately, I forgot where that thread.

I don't believe livecoin has been hacked, I have doubt that the site was sold to someone else, and before doing this, they run away their user's money, and now those who didn't get a refund before the deadline, and now they return the half on it instead of the whole fund.

Look at this thread in the scam accusation board.

You would basically see;

"thank you livecoin i received my tokens back... blah blah"
"Im happy i got my 50% funs back."
"Hello!! I have got 50% of my money back from the livecoin exchange"

and so on and a non-stop post on everyday basis having the same message out of those sockpuppets. Cool

Since they've closed down, there's no way to get those funds anymore. You may some posts on their thread saying that they've retrieved a part of their funds but I'm doubtful on it already.

There's no hope on it, if you'll check their main thread in the forum, you'll see a bunch of people saying that they've been paid by a portion with their remaining funds but they've submitted their identities. But I'm now having doubts that those are legitimate users.

I think that they're forever gone and there's no need for you to think that they'll ever come back. What's done is done and just accept the fact that they're gone.

Your testimony is worth next to nothing considering your new account status, not to mention it is your first post. If anything, it looks like the team itself is trying to salvage the situation so that they can make a new move to launch a new exchange.

Even if your experience is the truth, there are dozens of users out there who lose money due to their activity. Just because you use it without problem, doesn't mean it is not problematic at all.

There was a lot of problem with Livecoin, if you also try to check in this forum, you may find a lot of threads about Livecoin,
one of the examples is this: Flag against Livecoin (again)
That is a thread reference for a flag of the account owned by Livecoin on this forum, this profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=462136.
You may check the profile with a lot of red trusts and an active flag.

I believe if the Livecoin team will able to plan to create a new exchange, for sure they will change everything, from the name of an exchange or maybe the team and management. A lot of users suffered from that exchange.
