As Pmalek, there's no planned date for stable version (and most likely it won't as development process sometimes meet unexpected things such as major/critical bug)

User experience is one of hardest for LN wallet/client developer as there are few things that could confuse non-tech users such as :
1. Open/close channel with it's locktime
2. Watchtower or online 24/7 to prevent other party cheating
3. Routing problem (transaction routing fail, can't find route with sufficient balance, can't find route to other user, etc)
Frankly, i don't know how UI/UX developer could find way to make LN wallet is easy to use without confusing user & sacrifice security/privacy (by use watchtower)

Unfortunately not much info regarding an upcoming stable version but...

A week or so ago v0.5.1-beta came out:
https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/releases/tag/v0.5.1-beta

LN seems to be working for this blog as well:

Lightning Network is on fire lately

12500 channels (up 38% this month)
4000 nodes (up 9% this month)
450 BTC capacity (up 317% this month!)
Hundreds of apps & integrations

There are some services already accepting it like Bitrefill and TorGuard even though developers of LND are saying that we shouldn't use it on the main net yet.

So my question, When should we expect to see LN stable release? ? I know that we already have wallets right now but since the user experience is not the main focus, they're not that easy to use.
