OP - PM me over the information so that I may look at the account you would like to use for collateral.  I am not a big instagram person, but if it is as valued as you said, it could be good collateral for me to fund the loan.  I will wait to hear from you.

That type of collateral is possible to use, but from what I've seen here it's not likely anyone would take it.  Domains and accounts tend to be overestimated in value and aren't liquid.

Something that's valuable enough and can be sold online as well such as altcoin or maybe a premium domain.  i can understand OP don't want to lose the instragram account as it would be useful for his business later on, but i don't think people will accept it as collateral either.  try working for awhile for now.

If anyone will do transactions without collateral now, will be stupid or like high risk.. (something like betting red on roulette is much less risky). Or it is new user - if some "Newbie" is reading this - thats no joke - make deal only with trusted escrow!

I have an OG instagram account name, which is a username that is 3 letter English word. Normally these names sell on other forums for 300-500 dollars, I personally bought the account about 8 months ago for $400. It really is the only thing of value that I personally own right now.

I want to start a business that helps people buy coveted clothing and shoes for a fee using bots. I can get a high preforming bot for $200 but I will need a bit more money to buy a Windows VPS, a domain, and a shopify website. in total I think it will cost me about 250 to start up.

I'm not looking for a loan right now as I'm not ready to start my business. I'm just curious if this instagram account is a valid collateral.

I see that you just want to know if is possible to get some easy loan.. Answere is NO! If you can't protect loan in  2-3 times most worth stuff, just forget about that! ..and wait for your salary Wink

Well looks a high ammount to be asked even with those colateral you are offering, just make your request and maybe someone may fund your loan with those colateral.

It depends if someone will be interested in that account but I don't think a rare named instagram account will worth 400 dollars in here. Maybe someone will give you a loan with a lower rate. Also instagram can easily be reverted.

If the account is worth $400 and you need $250 to start your business, why not sell the account?

http://www.fameswap.com/page/6570.html charges $450 for an account with 80000 followers.
1. I like the account and I dont want to loose it forever
2. Sites like those are for buying and selling accounts that have large followings. My account just has a really rare name
