I would say he is doing this loan to try and get some trust.
And he failed because people still need collateral for 1$ loan.
I mean lets say he is gonna scam you, isn't investing 1$ to know if he is a scammer or no worth it ?
Sockpuppet?

No, of course it's not worth it. He can make a hundred more accounts.

What kind of person would be scammed for 1$ hundreds of times from same person ?.
How would you know they're not the same person? This is the problem with pseudonymity.

I might lend the buck with a scan of some kind of ID.

Well its easy when you see a lot of new people requesting the same loan 0.01 ?
You see, even if you have collateral and proof of identity it still doesn't work like that.
People will only loan you if you are not a stranger.
Anyway I kinda gave up on my own loan and will start in this business seriously.

At work, don't have a scanner... PM your phone number and I will take a picture with my military ID and text it to you.

lol

I stated in my post why I want the loan.  I don't need it and can test out my work computer on Monday.  I just want to play some roulette instead of crunch numbers in Excel.  No biggie.

I know a $1 investment isn't really worth the hassle, but just figured I'd see.

I would give you the loan if I had any indication that you don't mean to simply abandon your forum account and never pay back.

Well I don't think there is any way I can prove that over an internet forum.  It's just a dollar, so it's whatever.

If I wanted to scam then I would make a fake account and not use a handle that I have used for everything since I was 18.

Figured I would try this, because I am bored at work and don't have a way to deposit at the moment.

I just want to see if anyone would go for this.  I want to try out https://bitzino.com/roulette because it appears that it will actually work on my work computer, but I don't have access to my BTCs right now.  I have some FTC/LTC/BTC on btc-e.com and will switch over to mine BTC this weekend so i can repay double on Monday (June 24th).

If anyone wants to help me out with a buck let me know.  If not, no biggie, I will try next week.

Thanks!

Edit:  Denied!  I'll be off work soon so I no longer need any help.  Thanks anyways!
