I did not evade ban evasion for your info.

Cyrus has unbanned my account. Please lock this thread. Thanks.

Hello Cyrus,

I would like to ask about my my account Lone Shark, why was it banned? Not sure why it was banned. I don't think I did anything illegal or anything. I hope this gets resolve as soon as possible. Since I have a few people who owes me bitcoins in the forum and I don't have a way to contact them unless I use this newbie account.

Hoping you can help me out. Thanks.

Hello Lone Shark,

Looks like your account was flagged for copy pasting posts. This usually lead to permabanning.

Yeah, I was very new to the forum when that happened. hilariousandco already informed me on a thread I made in Meta.

Can I appeal it? I really don't want to lose my account here. Creation of a new one will also result to another ban since that would be ban evasion. Hope you guys could still help me out. I think I made a modest contributions here on the forum especially at the lending threads.

Hi Cyrus,

I was wondering if you can give me an update of your decision on my account? hilariousandco said I should ask you if you would allow to unban my account. I would really greatly appreciate your help if you do unban it.

Thank you and really hoping for your reconsideration.

Welcome back Smiley.
I'm happy seeing people growing past greedy or naive practices such as copy pasting. Too bad it happens all too rarely.

Cyrus.

He got his account already, it was stated by LS here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20551474 with the help of Cyrus.
But he had different situation here but yeah there are rules which have to be followed.
This is crazy indeed! I have nothing against him but forum's policies are meant to obeyed right ?
Today I learned : BitcoinTalk's perma-banned accounts can be unbanned in certain cases.
You can see how professionally they're dealing with the situation anyway,

Who the fuck I think I am? I'm fucking Lone Shark bitch. Since you are so hostile to my me, I would be to you. You aren't even a borrower here.

For your info asshole, it split. BCC is a network split you noob shit.

I think it would probably be best to ask that he not participate in signature campaigns for at least 30-60 days (or have a signature for a business of which he is not a majority owner), as the copy/paste issue is incentivized by his paid signature. He would still be able to advertise his own business, and would still be able to include in his signature any political message and/or other non-commercial message of his choosing during this time.
Exactly.Otherwise it is unfair to most of the good campaign participants who got banned for copy-pasting.He indeed shouldn't be allowed to carry a signature as some sort of penalty.

If he don't post outside the Meta section and take care of his ongoing loans, he would lose money. But again, rules are rules, and the rules shall be followed.

This could probably be the best option for LS to at least refrain from copy-pasting for campaigns. Besides, he got his second chance from Cyrus, why not put him under probation for the said time to redeem and prove himself worthy of a second chance?

But rules are rules, right?  He seems to be taking it pretty well.  I'd be damned concerned about my outstanding loans if I were him.  Yikes.

It's a lousy situation he's in, and I feel bad for the guy.  He could potentially get screwed on a lot of loans, and not be able to inform the community about it.  But rules are rules, right?  He seems to be taking it pretty well.  I'd be damned concerned about my outstanding loans if I were him.  Yikes.

I believe this is technically against the rules, however it is unlikely any action will be taken against him if he does this. The forum does not want to help scammers get away.

I don't think this is a cause for concern given that the post seems justified. If it were ban evasion for a different purpose (other than to inform others about the ban) then it would be disallowed.

IIRC this was allowed in the past (can't find the reply for that). I personally wouldn't hold it against LS for this.

Thread started by Lone Shark : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/solved-2058662
Their account got banned for copy-pasting which is a perma-ban I suppose. He runs an active lending thread to which hilariousandco directed him to PM the lenders, instead he posted outside of Meta onto his lending thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/l-o-n-e-s-h-a-r-k-l-o-a-n-reopenedupdating-1820695

He also stated,he'd be opening more threads in the scam accusation section. Is it allowed ?

Take note that I can still open a scam accusation against anyone who will default or try to scam me.
