People use apps most of the time for convenience but don't worry because even though localbitcoins don't have their official app yet. The site's mobile version is very responsive and has a nice look and feel. Have a look at this, I tried it on different mobile browsers but its looks the same. I use chrome in that

Just don't forget to always check if you're in the right site because there are many phishing sites of localbitcoins. Its usually found on the promoted sites on google if you search "localbitcoins".

I know some legit apps on play store [well they also have their web version] but they're a local exchange so it depends which country you reside in.
Can you tell us which one?

I personally wouldn't use any app that is unofficial, maybe unless their code is open-source, as so we can know if they're doing something fishy. As of now localbitcoins doesn't have a mobile app of their own, but remember that you can still transact by just simply using your mobile phone's browser and going to https://localbitcoins.com

Hey there!
Can anyone please advice me a legit localbitcoins android trading app? Just need it to make BTC / cash exchange faster and safer. It seems like they don't have any official application and the Play Market is not a trustworthy place. They already had a huge amounts of fake phishing apps (including localbitcoins apps) so I just want to be sure that I'm using a good app. Also I will appreciate if you advice me like 2-3 of such apps because not all of them are available in different regions.
Thanks.

If you don't want to use unofficial apps(good idea), then you simply have no option other than accessing it on the browser. And i mean, i've been using localbitcoins on my phone through a browser for ages now, never had an issue.

Why exactly are you looking to get an app? Is your browser not compatible with localbitcoins site or something?

Don't go for any unofficial app version of localbitcoins as they can steal your coins. Just go to lbc on your phone or pc and keep another tab open to check latest price on various exchanges. Do it manually, otherwise those bots aren't trusted at all.

Be careful with all unofficial BTC wallets and trading apps for Android, and to some degree IOS apps too. If localbitcoins.com didnt release an official app for the community, then theres no other way to access them but on their website.

I also keep telling everyone to always activate and use 2FA.
