Currently, it's taking me forever to sign in. They tweeted this on 12/08:

Account registration is enabled again. We are still experiencing an exceptional load on our servers and you may notice the website being slower than usual. We apologise for the problems! #Bitcoin #LocalBitcoins

Looks like they're just really overloaded right now.

Ya I've been trying to login for an hour. no dice yet =/.

You are right, the problem was on my router, strange, I could access any page but not localbitcoins.

Lesson learned, I'm storing my bitcoins in a hardware wallet. The problem with bitcoins is the transactions cost, that's why I don't like to move my coins around.

I can't access my localbitcoins account, sever down, not even a single tweet. Even if I manage to get my bitcoins back, localbitcoins is history for me. Don't trust them anymore

It could be from your end at this time because I tried checking it out and it went freely without any issue. Try to wait a little and try again later. But for you to run to the forum and ask about  this shows how the volume of your bitcoin on that platform which has been said several times not to keep funds in places you don't own the private key and localbitcoin is one of them. What if you cant get access to the site again? You then shout scam even though its something you can avoid.
