If you just want to buy gift cards using Bitcoin then https://www.gyft.com/bitcoin/ would be the best place to do that. You might even get good discounts on them.

I doubt you'll get better deals on Localbitcoins for gift cards so you're probably better off sticking with cryptothrift. People also sell them on the marketplace here. Be careful buying them though as a lot of them are bought with stolen credit cards so they can quickly sell them for bitcoins and then launder the money.

Hi has anyone used LocalBitcoins.com before? I'm interested in selling/tradin bitcoin on there, but I'm kind of confused. I'd like to sell bitcoin for gift cards, but is it dollar for dollar? As in $100 amazon gift card for $100 worth of bitcoin? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You can set it up to accept different fiat types like euro usd etc. I have sued their services a lot of times never had any problems using them. if you are selling as a trader on it you can set restricted and list all you want to buy for or sell for etc so if yo want to sell for for gift cards you will need to check though the lists on who offer this service. Some do but need to be careful who selecting as can be scammers. I would only go for people with a lot of trades and good feedback.

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking for good deals on gift cards. I currently use cryptothrift.com and have found good ones on there. Have you gotten good deals on localbitcoin?
