Actually, the platform behaves quite strangely. I don’t know what the developers are up to, but what is happening raises many suspicions.
First, they close the service for 25 countries of the world, then various throws appear regarding the site not working, as well as messages of various nature related to the difficulties of withdrawing funds from local Bitcoin users.
Some telegram channels make the most sad forecasts.

FUDsters take advantage of their change in their ToS recently to exaggregate more to be changed in the bitcoin price movements. But I am constantly using localbitcoin.com much often and never faced any issues and if there is maintenance from the team they will give prior notice to every user.

Using something centralized has put ourselves risks but as long as you are not keeping more funds there then there will be nothing to lose.

Looks like your problem is already resolved but just a heads up: if you want to know if a website is actually down and or if the problem is only on your side, you can try out sites like this: https://isthissitedown.net/

I tried to access the LocalBitcoins site but it's working fine and there is no tweet about the issue from their official Twitter account. Except on Jan. 28 Maintenance but it was done look "The scheduled maintenance is currently over"

Your DNS might be blocking you for accessing LocalBitcoins try to replace your DNS with Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 or try to use a VPN service.

Looks like the site is down. Can't login, just sends me confirmations over and over in the email, then never lets me in. Sometimes even the website won't load. Even get a 503 error.
