- Earlier that day, you changed your password "normally" but for some reason, you had to use the "secret question method" to retrieve your password (common behavior among fraudulent sellers [just saying])...

I changed my password earlier that day and everything was fine. But due to the fact, that I unsuccessfully tried to log in few hours later, I decided to reset it. I did not want to sell this account, because if you look at the last posts, I am participating in more than 35 bounties at the moment and I need to make further reports.

Yes I used the secret phrase to change my password.
