I emailed trustedcoin. Their answer was this :

'In my services logs I see that there are two different accounts associated with your email address.  Is the account you are attempting to recover the one with a current balance of XXXXX BTC ?'

I answered yes, and he emailed me back this:

''Since XXXXX is the email address you provided when you originally signed up it's possible for me to provide you a new authenticator QR which should allow you access to the wallet you specified:''

scanned that XR code, and was good to go
Good to know that Trustedcoin isn't as safe as I thought and that you only need the email address to bypass the whole "security" of having a 2FA wallet. That's the first time I see someting like this happening.

I'm glad I didn't listen to you. I emailed their support, and they provided me with a new 2FA QR code. Minutes later, I was able to get my coins off. If you don't know about a certain issue, then just don't say anything.
ROFL. How did they provide you with a 2FA QR Code? How would their 2FA be safe if anyone can easily "email their support" and get a 2FA code? And who exactly did you emailed?

And yes, I know what I'm talking about.

What happens if I lose my cell phone?
If you lose your cell phone your only option is to restore your wallet from it's seed phrase. During the restore process you will be given the option to either (1) disable 2FA or (2) provision a new 2nd factor device.

This is an interesting conflicting set of opinions.

Nope. You either need your 2FA to send the coins to a new wallet or the seed to get hold of the 2-of-3 private-keys necessary to spend them without any 2FA.

Without them, your coins are lost forever.

Hello,

I am logged into my Electrum desktop wallet, but I have lost access to both my seed and 2FA. Is there anything I can do ( private keys,...?) to retrieve this wallet/ find a way to transfer my btc off of this wallet?

Thanks,
Complexion
