I've used VPNBook for a few days some years ago until I've discovered that it was an honeypot, so beware when dealing with "free" VPN services.

There should be a built in option in your iOS device to setup VPN that support the PPTP and L2TP/Ipsec VPN protocols on iPhone. An alternative option is to download a third party VPN app from the iTune Store. You can manually setup a PPTP VPN connection on iOS. Here is a free VPN list for iOS for further help.
