what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?
The prices do not reach that much level what were expected during these Christmas because it was expected around $21000 but it fell to $12000 but now it's recovering and now has reached $14k but still are lower than that price and situation is like huge price dip because of certain measures and regular warnings by financial institutions against its use but still its growing with full potential and soon will reach new heights.

Every day there is an incomprehensible change in the currency. Then it grows, then it falls loudly. And from this no one is immune. The risk really is. But my opinion is that the currency will be at its best!

Price looks stable at $15,900 and discount for bitcoin might over as it's going to be prepared and ready for another pump. And if you are able to buy some of it or just a portion of it you got a good decision but if you are still waiting and hoping for it to come down then you are doing it wrong. I guess the Christmas discount also goes and represents the New year discount so everyone is expecting it's price to surge not to plummet.
Still it is a discounted price of Bitcoin considering it has reached 20,000$ a few weeks ago. It surely is being readied for a pump though but this makes me wonder if it is manipulated or not because for me it looks like someone is manipulating it via news and for now he/she/they are succeeding in the manipulation of bitcoin. I just hope that price surges by new year's eve. It would be a nice year opener if btc rises by then.

Well it is for those people that witnessed bitcoin reached close to $20,000 but there are people that are not looking at that thing. They are looking to bitcoin as something expensive and they can't depend on it anymore, they want to look for bitcoin at the lowest and discounted price that they can take. Manipulation, news and every speculation counts when it comes to bitcoin's price and also to other altcoins.

It looks like Bitcoin is going up.....

however....

my experience says we should first get another dump lower than the previous dump.... hope not but I'm ready for it.

Yes prepare yourself for an ATH either by one day prior to the New Year or the first week of the New Year. The people who wanted to Christmas cash out have done so and what remains is a bullish sentiment of the overall markets. Watch before your eyes that ATH get reached Wink.

If we look back and strictly focus on the gains we have booked this year, then there isn't such a thing as a recovery. Regardless of how much we have seen the price go down in the last few days, it didn't really mean anything because we have always been maintaining at least a +1000% increase. People just need to adjust themselves to the heavy fluctuations and that's really it. It once again became clear how not only the market is very volatile, but people's mindsets here as well - one day the bull run is over, and the next day we'll reach $20,000 this year again. People adjust their sentiment based on this market's fluctuations, which is quite pathethic if you think about it. There are far too many empty headed chickens running around here.

what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?
Price is above 16k at the moment. This is good news, fresh money is entering in the market. Hunger for bitcoin is growing again. The demand will rise simultaneously and hopefully by the end of this month we can hit another all time high. This was a real quick recovery and the correction that was expected to be there ended up really fast, so we might see yet another correction next month or so.

Yes, the Christmas and New Year discount is over, but it's far too early to call a proper recovery. Once it's tasted those floors at 11, 12 and 13, there's bound to be more appetite for it. I'm pretty sure a lot of buyers have also filled up orderbooks at that range, waiting for 15-17k to sell off again for a quick buck - so it's going to be a long climb back to hold peaks above 15, never mind the uncharted 20k territory.

So will be looking for a few more cycles of discount dips. Myself, looking to gobble up at least two alts along the way, especially when BTC makes a new push like today. Then again, it could just keep proving me wrong like it has most of this year and I'll end up with two new bags to hold. Either way, I won't mind.

I don't know if we can call it recovery. It wasn't crash that happened but usual and normal correction that was expected so I would call this a pause in price rise that is about to continue.
Still price movement in any direction, up or down is still possible and don't be too optimistic too early and think the price will reach 20000$ before the end of the year.
If information about fork on 28th December are true and reliable everything is to be expected yet.

I think the same as you, the price is constantly going up/down and this is confusing a lot of people.
if it goes up, a lot of people are going to think that a new all time high is coming.

For me, this isn't the end yet, the price will keep changing for a while.

Not yet too early to make any such comments the price had rised to $14k but yesterday again fell to $12k and today is rose again this feels like a short pump and dump until people are enjoying their holidays.

And yes, the discount is now over, it touched $16,800 today, that is a very nice price, and i saw a lot of people saying that bitcoin was  crashing yesterday.. came on.

What discount? What recovery? I still see coins that are marked up 1500% from the beginning of the year. We need another "discount". New years is coming.

what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?

It looks like the correction is over. However, you have to wait a few days to see if the sale is over and the price will rise again. For now, the price is rising sharply.

what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?
Another significant recovery has happened and I think we would have another upward movement in days to come. Bitcoin falling back to 12,000 dollars was a bit surprised to me when I expected the price to hit $25,000 before end of 2017! But I thank God we have started to witness another bullish momentum forming. When ever the market take this kind of time to make a correction we always witness great push, and I hope this time will not be an exemption.

The price has recovered quite sharply today. The price crossed $15,000 and $16,000 very quickly. Even the mainstream media is talking about a rebound now. If we cross the previous ATH of $20K, I think this rally will go a long way.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-26/crypto-proxy-stocks-rally-as-bitcoin-rebounds-above-15-000

I am very very bullish on Bitcoin and others.

However, if MSM is talking about the price going up, I am going to be very worried.

what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?
Yes I think price will recover faster than how it has dumped in past. Recovery to over $25k is possible within next few weaks, new year is waiting for new ATH price.

Support for bitcoin is really strong now again near $15,000 which is good sign for another huge surge.

I think bitcoin found its feet about 13k and has recovered nicely today but I wouldn't be surprised to see the price back to 13-14k in the coming days. It sure likes like nothing more than a blip now though.

what do you think is it a real recovery for bitcoin?
Yes,it seems that christmas discount is over.Bitcoin price has reached $15,760 today. But still,it could be bought confidently by those who had not bought it yet since it could once again reach $20,000 near new year.FUD spreaders are once again upset now over this recovery and now instead of terming bitcoin as bubble, they would focus on mentioning the high transaction fee and terming that bitcoin is no more useful practically.

It won't stop still new year so don't wait if you are planning to invest after new year it's going back to $20k or even more.
