good idea Smiley
Most of the blower-style cards on the Chinese market are old cryptomining GPUs that are no longer profitable to use. Companies like Jieshuo are buying them in masses and giving them a second chance. As long as gamers know that these cards are old and have been used for cryptomining, and they are cheaper than similar GPUs on the second-hand market, then there’s nothing to complain about. Sadly, that is not always the case.

One of GPUs that has recently emerged is GeForce RTX 3080 20GB, which never released by NVIDIA, although there were many rumors about such a SKU being planned. The model was mentioned in internal board partner roadmaps, but it never made it to the marketplace. The reason why Chinese companies pick up RTX 3080 instead of 3090 already equipped with 24GB memory is simple, the RTX 3080 is much cheaper to procure.

Unfortunately and to the delight of owners of AMD video cards, the kawpow algorithm is more profitable on red video cards. Green video cards on this algorithm have higher power consumption, and many miners will have no problems finding more profitable coins.

Before buying video cards in China, look at the market prices of used PC components in your country. In China, it is profitable to buy only in bulk and your partner will do all the checks. It is faster and cheaper to buy one or more video cards in your own country. In mining, video cards are not so profitable, so there are many of them on the secondary market.

Now the brand new graphics card will also be very cheap, I am in China, if you are interested you can contact me, WhatsApp: +8619171166975
A new graphics card can't be cheap because of the Manufacturer's suggested retail price.
Only a video card after mining with a new cooling system can be cheap. I look at the prices in China, but then I find even better options in my city, because the sale of the video cards has begun.

Just wait a bit. 40 series out soon. Hehe.  Grin
You won't see a cheap 4000 series this year.

At least the year is 75% over.
Now there is no point in buying expensive video cards, unless you are a professional gamer.  For most games, a 5600 XT video card is enough for me, which can now be bought for $ 200 or a little cheaper, and the video card will be in excellent condition.

I think it's not safe to interact with any new sellers, you never know how they will handle the transaction and what type of item them will send ( present condition ), I always try to buy from those who have sold few times before and have good reviews from their buyers.

With eBay I would say its pretty safe because your purchase is guaranteed. eBay support always sides with the buyer. I had people buy many GPUs and ASICs and I had to take them back for made up reasons.

Only issue with a new seller is that they might not do the best job of maybe packaging it up or shipping it correctly, or they can take their time going to the post office. However they won't scam you. No point in sellers ripping off buyers on ebay anymore. So if its a great deal, cheaper than most other sellers I would say go for it.

I'm looking for people who are looking to get rid of RTX3080 & 3090 cards now that mining is dead.
Please only PM if you have at least 8 units of the same model.

How cheap do you think you can pay.

I have 8 evga ftw3 cards.

3090

cheapest one on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/234703925776?

800 usd

but seller sucks

https://www.ebay.com/itm/354301443545?

825

but seller is an unknown

https://www.ebay.com/itm/354301443545?

850 best offer

seller is pretty new

https://www.ebay.com/itm/115529992733?

860

a real seller.

so 860 x 8 = 6880 + tax so maybe 600 = 7480 if you buy 8 on ebay

I am in NJ,USA

I will check to see exactly how many of them I have and I will go lower than 7480. If you are USA based.

I may or may not have the boxes.

You said now that mining is dead but you want 8 units of same model, what for if not for mining? 👀👀 hehe smart dude.
Such ads are usually created by people who want to buy video cards very cheaply, well below the market price. There are a lot of offers on the market, because the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 video cards are the most unprofitable. Look at the statistics.

I suggest you to post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

This is only a section to talk about mining, but above is the link to >  Marketplace > Goods > Computer hardware
You can post a thread to buy hardware, and you can look there too if anyone is selling

Thanks, I did that as well but I figured many might overlook it there.

I'm based in EU, I handle import clearance etc. so it's straight forward, just box 'em and ship 'em.
Looking forward to hear what you have available.

long day just got home let me look it all over and get back to you over the weekend.

Right now its tough market for GPUs.

Basically if you are a seller, you are getting awfully low offers because "ETH mining is dead".

If you are a buyer, most of the ads or ebay listings have a price listed that is still fairly high for your tastes. So you make an offer that ends up being insultingly low and get the seller to not respond.

Similar to the car market it seems. Buyers don't want to pay inflated prices and sellers don't want to sell low, so there are no actual sales.

I sold 4 1080ti's for 880

pays for my power the next month

So I am mining the with 10000 - 140 = 9860 hash

So if we keep selling just a bit of gpus we can mine at little or no cost.

IF he buys all eight for say 6400 I pay 900 in power so that is 7 months of mining. cost is 8 x 110 = 880 hash. I can live with that.

There is the section here as mentioned above but if you search international marketplaces, the prizes of such cards have fallen down dramatically and I am sure you can find much more than 8 cards there.A lot of desperate persons I have seen are trying to liquidate their gear.Of course in the goods section of the forum 99.99% of the cases you will find better prices so if you are patient enough I suggest you keep an eye on that very section.Keep in mind to always use a trusted escrow though to be safe.
