I understand that most of the loans attempts are scams, I just don't agree with the blanket policy of issuing negative trust. Do I think the OP is a scammer? No, I don't think that is their intention. Going through their recent posts you can see they clearly are the developer of a coin (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/einaioracoin-eoc-365-pos-very-stable-coin-with-lots-coming-this-summer-for-it-1065954). Do I think this would be a smart loan to provide? Not necessarily. If the coin flops and completely fails, there is nothing to stop the OP from just abandoning ship. I still don't think its fair to blast someone for something that they might do, we don't know that the OP would bail if his project ran into issues.
Hello,

I would like to thank you for your kind words and appreciate that you at least said something about the negative trust rating automatically.  I also completely understand what you mean when you talk about if the coin flopped would I just up and abandon ship and not pay back the remainder of the loan that is left.  I know it doesn't say much because no one knows who I am but I would like to point out that whether or not the coin succeeds I would never abandon it, not EVER.

If you read through the thread of the coin you will see lots of times where any other developer who ran into the problems that I ran into with the coin would have just said fuck it and gave up, but I didn't those were the times where I reached out for some more senior help and graciously paid them with BTC straight from my very own pocket.

I also always admitted when I couldn't fix something and needed help and was looking for help because the one thing I wanted with my coin was to just be blatantly honest with my community because the one major thing I've always noticed which really helps a coin stay around and still get traded is when it has a good community backing it up.

But again I would like to thank you for those kind words.

Thanks,
Have a Great Day,

Hello again,

Well I see that I received a negative trust rating.  I apologize about putting out a loan request for 4BTC and only offering like 0.5BTC as collateral.  The only reason I was even looking for the loan is so that I could get the things I wanted to get accomplished with my coin within like a month without having to buy 4BTC all at once.  I just figured that it was worth a shot anyways.

As I said before though I am only the one developer and I have only created the one coin and if anyone reads through the thread they would see that I have always been honest with my community and have always worked at giving them anything that they feel would help the coin and so far any expenditures have all came directly out of my own pocket.

I also understand that with all the sock puppet accounts that all the weirdos and scammers create on this forum has left it in a pretty sad state where someone like me who is a hard working, honest, just normal down to earth guy can't even throw a suggestion out for a loan which I do believe was more than a fair amount to be paid back.  I mean 4BTC to pay back 6BTC in the end of it all.... I have to admit that is a little more generous than most of the loan requests I have seen here.  Also the fact that I offered to release my identity to the person who would lend me the BTC as well I felt was another thing that very few if any loan request people offer to do, but I was totally legit and honest in my request which is why I felt that it would only be right to give the lender at least a fail safe to fall back on if they actually thought I was going to default on the loan.

I am not like your other crypto developers folks.  I am a novice who was sick and tired of all the scam abandoned go dead after a week coins and thought I would try out my idea for a coin and see how it went.  I have lots of big ideas behind my coin and am looking hard into hopefully using my coin to help introduce your everyday person who has no idea what a cryptocurrency is to them and how to use them easily.

Anyways again I apologize about request with such little collateral and if the kind gentleman who gave me the negative trust rating will agree to remove the negative trust rating if I close this thread then I will be more than happy to do so.  I only say this because in all honesty if that person won't remove the negative trust rating then realistically what have I got to lose leaving this thread up?

I am always looking for people with coding and developing skills and website building skills to join my team and help make a go at a really good idea behind a cryptocurreny.  I was also planning on purchasing 50k of my coins to give to the lender as soon as I received the loan so they could put them in a wallet and stake them on top of the 6BTC I was agreeing to pay.

Anyways I will await a response as to whether or not the negative trust will be removed and if so then unfortunately as much as it pains me I will close this thread.

Lastly I would like to assure everyone that this is not a bought account and I don't play people's stupid crypto scam brain games.

Thanks,
Have a Great Day

Negative trust shouldn't be dished to people for not having collateral. Honestly, the people giving loans on this site shouldn't be doing so, it's ridiculous to require 130-150% in collateral.
Personally I would require at least 100% collateral. 130-150% would apply only if the collateral can easily reduce its worth by 30-50% (for example an non-stable altcoin).
Anyway in this case OP is offering at most 12.5% collateral. That means he's asking for a 3.5-BTC loan without collateral. His account and reputation are worth close to zero so he'd had nothing to lose if he decides to default (or simply can't pay).

Even a pawnshop doesn't require that much collateral.
I'm sure they would require more than 12.5% collateral, especially if the loan is given anonymously.

...it's another to permanently scar someone's account....
It's not permanent. If OP closes this thread as soon as he comes back online then I will remove my feedback. Negative trust serves as a warning and several times is not permanent.

Blatant rip offs (i.e asking for a ton of btc with new account, no explanation, no collateral etc) should be given negative feedback, but I don't think the OP's post could be considered a blatant rip off.
Sadly it's not possible to know whether it's a rip off if he doesn't offer collateral.

If we don't discourage asking for big loans without collateral then we would be calling for scammers. Anyone can buy or farm a Member account, ask for a 4BTC loan, give 0.5BTC as collateral, pocket the 3.5BTC and just rinse and repeat. I strongly believe we shouldn't allow this.

There's no way to know whether OP is honest or not, unfortunately. But if it this kind of loans becomes a common practice then you can be sure more than 90% will be dishonest eventually.

I you don't either close your thread or offer valid collateral worth more than the loan plus interest you will receive negative trust in a few minutes. You can add [Closed] to the beginning of thr title and lock it using the left-bottom button.

Negative trust shouldn't be dished to people for not having collateral. Honestly, the people giving loans on this site shouldn't be doing so, it's ridiculous to require 130-150% in collateral. Even a pawnshop doesn't require that much collateral. If you can't afford to have the loan default, don't give the loan, simple as that. It's one thing to post a warning to other potential lenders on the loan thread, it's another to permanently scar someone's account. I think a lot of people forget that a loan is an investment, and like all investments its not guaranteed. The only guaranteed investment is an annuity.

Blatant rip offs (i.e asking for a ton of btc with new account, no explanation, no collateral etc) should be given negative feedback, but I don't think the OP's post could be considered a blatant rip off.  I think it would be more reasonable though if the OP agreed to use an escrow, and the btc would only be spent as proof of development happens (I.e some btc is released to OP after website developed, some btc is released after hiring a coin developer and so on).

Just my 2 cents, I'm just getting fed up with trust abuse on this forum

Hello Everyone,

Before I begin my listing I would kindly like to ask that Vod please don't give me a negative trust rating for asking for this loan without substantial collateral.  I have little collateral but not nearly enough to cover the amount that I am asking for but I would like to see my coin start getting a little more traction because I do have a pretty dedicated community behind my coin and would like to see them happy with the progress of the coin.

I would like to introduce myself.  I am the Developer of the coin EinaiOraCoin, you can see my coins thread right here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/einaioracoin-eoc-365-pos-very-stable-coin-with-lots-coming-this-summer-for-it-1065954 and I am currently working on re-branding my coin to being called Everyone'sCoin instead and building a website for the coin and the community.

Now the problem that I currently am experiencing is that I work full time and have a family and well a life outside of Crypto and I am also not the most experienced developer out there and have been looking to find more people to join the team for my coin because I could really use the extra help with everything.  So I haven't had all the time with work and family to keep the production and flow behind my coin running as quickly as I would have liked too.

I am asking for 4BTC that I can use to help hire some more people to assist me with the development of the website and also assist me with other features that I would like to add to the new wallet and also hire some people to help out with creating some gaming sites for the coin so people have other things that they would be able to do with them.  I will also be using some of the BTC to pay for the website for the first year.

So what I am hoping to ask for with the loan because this is the long term loan area of the forum is that if I was able to receive the 4BTC loan that I would payback 0.5BTC monthly for the next year from the date that the loan is issued.  That will work out to 6BTC total paid back from the 4BTC.  This way I could get my coin back on track with the road map, help keep my loyal community happy, and also work on getting my coin listed onto other exchanges when the re-brand is officially done.  I am also willing to disclose my identity but only if I find someone to lend me the BTC.  I only say this because I have met and talked to a lot of weirdos in the world of cryptocurrencies and in all honesty I feel that my identity is something that should only be shared with the person that is lending me the BTC.

As you will notice from the coin's thread I have never asked anyone from the community for any handouts and have paid for any help that I needed with the coin from my own pocket.  I also gave away about half of my premine that I took for the coin because the community wasn't behind a coin that had a premine at first.  But as you can see through the coins thread I have always been upfront and honest with everyone about any problems or factors that came up with the coin.  I believe in my coin and I also believe in the ideas that I have behind my coin.

As I said I don't have really any collateral that I think anyone would be interested in holding except for some Altcoins that I have which maybe total value of them all together would be like 0.5BTC at the most.  I am willing to give those coins as collateral though if need be.  I do however work a full time job as a legal assistant and get paid a monthly salary of $3600 after taxes so I can assure the lender that the 0.5BTC I am offering to pay back monthly will always arrive.

So in conclusion I would like to thank anyone who takes the time to read my thread and I am also open to any free help that there is out there if anyone would like to assist with this coin and be part of the team I am always looking for new people.  I would just like to also mention that if I get granted the loan, I will be posting an announcement in the service thread looking for people to join my coin's team so that also might help to ease the mind of someone that is considering loaning me the Bitcoin on if I will be using it for what I am saying that I will be using it for or not.

My BTC address is 1JTv5AAouvMqvVABk9ZcC3SRCRyEd77Ssh

I have to go to work now but I will check here at lunch to see what types of comments have been posted.

Thanks,
Have a Great Day
