[...] The business is definitely lucrative if done correctly [...]

The "business" also ruins the gaming experience of players who don't play to get rich.
Fuck the botters.
FUCK THE BOTTERS.
and also, FUCK THE BOTTERS.

Just a little addendum, you're welcome.

The "business" relys on players of the game.. so whose to really blame? But I agree, certain games that are economy based would be much more fun without bottors because everything would have 100x more value.

That virtual item you found in D3 instead of being $10 would be worth $100.. etc.

Theoretically, you could make a living playing certain games if no one botted with the help of multi-boxing. Of course the chinese would ruin this market too..

I'll be glad to give you $1000...NOT.... Tongue

If he was more professional with what he's doing and actually had knowledge of the business (instead of contradicting himself when giving details) I would gladly have invested the 1k or even more. The business is definitely lucrative if done correctly, and scales up nicely with bigger investments.

Since you seem to have subscribed to Kongor's twitch, what do you think about the whole ZilianOP story ?

I haven't paid attention to anything D3 since that one guy bought.. some virtual item for $10,000..

I will say that the botting area can be lucrative, but with the lack of information OP is giving I would be extremely wary of this. There are a lot of things to consider that will all have a direct impact on profits (or losses):

*Game (including release date)
*Server chosen
*Class chosen
*Botting method (solo, grouped... how big are the groups)
*Time botting per session
*Frequency of gold selling
*Current price of gold and recent price fluctuations

This is a pretty volatile market and there is no way I would entrust someone to "earn me money" when they refuse to even give any details. I've run many bot trains in the past and I know how this works, and for that reason it would be stupid to trust that some random person refusing to share information happens to know what they are doing. Too many people jump in a game, get banned within days because they "thought" they knew, and lose everything.

Basically what the OP is doing is like saying "I am running a business. I'll sell you 50% equity in it. All I can tell you, though, is that it's a business and you have to trust that I know what I'm doing. Sorry but I can't tell anything else!" There's no way an investor would jump on that; it would be asinine.

For the record, to help show some volatility, in Rift, over the past 5 days, 1k gold has gone from $6 down to $1 and is about to drop again today. This means if he was farming that and go 2k in profit last month (where it was much higher than 6/1000), you would be looking at maybe a $100 this month, with prices still going down.

Seriously, guys, if you don't know this business, stay out of it. You're going to get burned.

You are talking about economy-based games like D3 -- I already said no market exists there as they are taken over by the chinese.

Stop spamming my thread. None of what you posted above is even remotely close. You know very little about botting, maybe a lot about one type of game other than that you should do more research.

Why don't you want to disclose the game name ?
Fear of being reported ?

(And why do you have a trading runescape tab open on the pic you posted ?  Grin)

Not to mention the "grasscity" tab.    Cheesy   I think we know where this money would go...

I grow my own, why else would I be a member of grasscity?

mfw you said, and I quote, "I've been an on and off botter in the gaming industry for a long time. Mainly Diablo2/Diablo3/Neopets/WoW/RS. I specialize in running bots for video games that turn over a profit, people pay real money for virtual gaming currency/items."

So you deal with economy-based games but you don't deal with economy-based games? This baffles me. How can you be selling currency and items (note: this is part of an economy) in a game that is economy-based (you said D3 is an example of what you don't do, but then you said you do in your original post) when you don't do anything economy-based?

Or is it just that you're lying so much you have no idea what you are even talking about anymore?

The past is the past how else would I know the chinese took over?

Stay off my thread and quit with the spam. You are just trolling at this point, again learn to read.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
Here are a couple of other suggestions:

1) Save up the money yourself.  Skip meals, cancel your cable TV, in other words suffer.

2) Since this is a sure thing hit up your friends (if you have any with money) and family (if you have not already burned all those bridges with past unpaid loans) for the money and then pay them back.

So all you need is the hardware and vps plus licenses? I think that you can easily get an investor to come in and provide the vps plus hardware for let's say 50% of the profit. It's easier for somebody to lend you the hardware instead of the cash mainly because for this type of "operation" the hardware can always stay with them.

Again--not releasing anything. If I wanted to do what you suggested I would have already.

I already have hosting providers for everything I do. Every little detail has been worked out, not interested in working with what you provide.

I was just suggesting an idea to help you. Good Luck

It has been asked/suggested repetitively and at this point it is getting annoying.

So you have been botting on and off for years for numerous games, you say it's likely you will clear 2000 per month yet you don't have 1000 to pay for new hardware? Sorry, you are not going to get thounsand dollars for bunch of keystrokes, show some proof.

I make money in various ways and left the gaming market on and off selling off hardware as I felt I should invest in something else. (I recently was making money playing poker, but that lead to other problems.. -- playing higher stakes..)

Needless to say I'm broke and only have a decent laptop with no cash that can be used to buy hardware... Imagine you know how to make money.. but need money to do it.. that is pretty much with anything... and in this case I see money I can make but lack the funds to get started.

EDIT: I do have one investor who bought half a computer since I had half a computer myself, I can start posting PayPal payments that are from buy/sell gaming websites like playerauctions.com once things get moving along.

Anyone can invest and I will always keep you updated on anyone who makes an investment.

You're not going to get anything without showing either a guaranteed way to get their money back or a solid plan. Also, requiring a loan of this quantity with no collateral is pretty much laughable. Why don't you go to the local bank and ask them. You wouldn't have to worry about giving you're identity over the internet then.

What manufacturers of botting software do you use? Or do you make that yourself?
Also what's wrong with your current computer to do this on? Many games have a way to bot without the complete game actually running (I used to bot D3 on 10 accounts without my GPU even being connected to the mobo and the game was running in a console window).

Sorry for late reply.

I use a custom one and I only have a laptop at the moment.

Also you don't "need" a GPU but then you are just trading RAM/CPU for it plus you can't bot clientless or you get banned VERY easy.

What form of guarantee do you give ?

What do you mean exactly?

I'll pay you back myself if for whatever things don't work out. Keep in mind the money is buying hardware from newegg which has a 30-day return policy and I could at least get 75% of the value resell wise.

Perhaps a link to a site where you sell these currencies with some garnered feedback.

He means what collateral are you going to provide?  Something worth at least $1000 that you'll get back when the loan is repaid.

If you don't have anything, then you won't get the loan.   Undecided
