You basically implied I sent the transaction without a transaction fee on purpose, then ignored my request for help on how to set the transaction fee and did the sarcastic rolling eyes smiley, even though I paid you 0.005BTC for 2 minutes work just because I felt bad for being a pain in the butt. I'm a noob, I was just looking for a little guidance on how it works. I just know I would be more friendly to someone who was clearly trying, even if they were making a few mistakes.

Anyway, I've figured it out, and have sent you a second 0.05BTC payment with a transaction fee.

TransactionID: 8fa6635f869409b18b2284f55c41d895ff09721e7483deffa852e5621f157d87-000

Please send back the original 0.05BTC when it confirms, and send my 3LTC to LYFAA4A3Wff573vY1a9BZHALdQbHRKrL4b. Thanks.  Undecided

Geez guys, I was sleeping.. x_x
Sent BTC back to byt411: https://blockchain.info/tx/e27baf98e710a6afcce40a95da2862021f175fcb20bba870ee8f51bd75ddb0d0

kebabman, shoot me your LTC address for me to return the 3 LTC.

monbux, its LYFAA4A3Wff573vY1a9BZHALdQbHRKrL4b.
Sorry for wasting your time, and thanks for your help.

Gah.. my bad..  Sent 3 LTC to that wallet.  Should see it soon.

This concludes the reverse transaction of this loan.  It is finished, please close topic.  Thank you.

Monbux, can't you be just a little bit nicer? You can see I'm trying to do the right thing here can't you? I'm not very experienced with using Bitcoins that is pretty obvious, but there's no need to be so harsh about it.  Sad

Wait, what am I doing that is mean? Huh  lol I'm serious about this one :O
And I don't USE the QT wallet, although I believe you are allowed to choose your own fee.  Make it 0.0001 BTC.

So excuse my ignorance again, but how do you send BTC without using the qt wallet? You only use online wallets?

There are other wallets, such as Multibit (which I don't recommend) and Electrum, which I personally use.
QT wallet is annoying, since you have to sync blocks and download them. You don't have to do so in Electrum.

Yes indeed, and I'm sorry for that, hence why I tipped monbux 0.005BTC for the hassle. Lesson learned that's for sure. My days in the lending section are over methinks, I'll stick to mining it's less stressful. Smiley

The original 0.055BTC transaction is now also confirmed. Funny how I have "45 minutes" to send the BTC or you will liquidate my LTC, and I get told to send a second BTC transaction as the first is too slow, yet you are still holding both my BTC and LTC hours later after the original "slow" BTC transaction has confirmed.  Roll Eyes

The problem is you wasted people's time. I warned you but you didn't listen. Buying trust is not the same as buying a sandwich and you are very lucky you don't have several negatives. I sincerely hope you learned from this experience and won't try trust buying again.
I am sure you will get your funds back, just exercise a little patience.

I use blockchain.info.  Other than that, I have paper wallets, I do not use the QT wallet because I'll have to wait for it to sync Tongue
Blockchain already suits my needs, and it's faster as well, no need to sync with the network on your computer.

Oh jeez. The qt client didn't ask for one, and I've sent plenty of transactions to exchanges and things and it's never been a problem before! Will it really take a couple of days? I'm trying hard to undo my faux pas guys, but it seems you really don't like me. How can I make this right? Sad

I'll scurry off out of this unfriendly forum section as soon as everyone has their funds back. I'm sorry for being a pain in the ass noob. Please try and be a little patient, everyone had to learn sometime. Looks like I get to be schooled in an embarrassingly public way. Embarrassed

Edit: I'll even send the funds to you again monbux, and you can just repay me the 0.05btc that's not going to be confirmed for days when it finally confirms, if that works? Just let me know how I add a transaction fee.

Sure, whatever suits you.  Give me an address to send you the 3 LTC after you send the BTC with the fee Roll Eyes  Thanks.

Oh come on negative trust for that, that's extremely harsh!! I never misrepresented myself or did anything to deserve negative trust, read the thread! Sad

Saying I am out to steal coins is a straight up lie! Seriously how could you write that on my profile. What a douchebag!

VoD please remove it. I am not a scammer, look at my post history, I'm just a noob. Sad

Please send the BTC back to the address monbux sent from within 45 minutes, or we will liquidate your LTC.
Thanks.

Please don't be so harsh, all I did was not realise I was breaking forum protocol, nothing else. Can you confirm the correct wallet address is 1Q2CupiU5DfWupRGBQ66QYRqvxoNxGZCcn please monbrux?

Lol, it's Vod that's harsh, not us. You agreed to cancel the loan too.

Suggestions? I don't need the money, but I am trustworthy and I want to prove that I am. I can offer loans if that's a better approach?

It was obvious it was a trust loan as soon as he posted that.

Sorry Vod. I didn't read the whole thread, just saw he was asking for a loan with proper collateral lol.

So apparently this was a trust loan.  I was stupid enough to not notice, but please do not contact me in the future if you require an escrow for a transaction/trade frowned upon by the bitcointalk community. Thank you.

This is a trust loan? I didn't notice either. Thanks monbux, I thought this was just a proper loan with collateral.

I can do this loan with escrow, PM me.

byt411 has contacted me and requested that I escrow this loan.

If other party agrees, send 3 LTC to: LPdk8bFfuMTexuiV8hESw8DExBvUKnDL4N

I will confirm it (after 6 confirmations), and byt411 will then send 0.05 BTC to the address stated by kebabman.

Escrow fee will be 0% because the fee is pretty small, but feel free to tip me afterwards.

Thank you very much, monbux. kebabman, please confirm this.

Well, I'm happy to give the person that loans me 0.05BTC some profit, that's part of borrowing. I dont' see how my request for a loan is any less genuine than if I had said "need to borrow 0.05BTC to buy a sandwich for lunch, will repay after I get my pocket money"...other than I was truthful about my motivations for requesting a loan in the first place.

It's viewed as buying Trust. It could also get you flagged.

OK fair enough. I didn't realise it was frowned upon. I'll set up a thread offering micro loans instead. Smiley

Purely to build trust. I will offer 3LTC as collateral. Happy to use escrow if fee is 1%. Loan will be repaid in tomorrow at 5PM EST.

I can fund you for 0.05 BTC loan. but with 3 LTC at a price of 0.0182 poloniex as collateral, doesn't it better that you sell LTC?

I want to hang onto my LTC, what % will you offer me the loan at?

Suggestions? I don't need the money, but I am trustworthy and I want to prove that I am. I can offer loans if that's a better approach?
It takes time to build trust. Be a contributor to the forum or buy/sell/trade. You don't have to do large trades, gradually build up your Trust. Loans can cost you coins and done improperly cost you Trust as well.

Trust loans are frowned upon. Try using other ways to build your Trust, those will go further to prove you can be trusted.
