I thought you were funding it yourself?

I thought the ipad had gone up to regular price?

Good points. I think BTC70 can be regular price for an iPad anyway.

Your scamdar is healthily acute but in this case I'm willing to give CaptChadd the benefit of the doubt. More fool us if he does turn out to be dodgy, but my gut feeling is he's okay.

^ ?

Can't hurt to try. Not everyone frequents this area watching for loans to hand out. If you ask someone nicely and can prove that you'll repay and you are who you are...

But I guess 65btc could be a lot for a first time loan....

Did you PM any of the lenders? IMO you would have more success sending PM's to known lenders.

I have known people to try this and got shot down in flames for "spamming" Sorry this did not work for you, But it should be done on reputation only, PM'ing people will just tick them off. IMHO

Sorry no one could stump up the loan, CaptChadd. Borrowing BTC65 at short notice is never easy, no matter your reputation. Maybe find a smaller pressie for her and get the iPad in a later sale?

Three years ago, I'm sure it wouldn't have been too difficult to get hold of BTC65 on here, as a donation let alone a loan. Smiley

This listing is closed as the offer for the Ipad 4 on the store has closed and it has gone back up to full price.

I thought that people on here might have helped me but I guess not.

Many thanks anyway.

If anyone can lend me the Bitcoins I can send you any form of identification that you might require?

People must be able to vouch for me on here? I have been involved with Bitcoin and Litecoin since the start of 2011.

I have a job now working in a call center and I now have two self funded websites one of which is in alpha right now. http://www.pcgamekeysgiveaway.com and http://www.cryptolivechat.com (Alpha Phase)

I am currently setting up my mining rig for Litecoin which will be ready to go next month but my wages will be paying the BTC's back and not the mining, that is a side project.

As a policy I never borrow what I cannot afford to pay back. If you look on one of my threads, I got offered a loan but turned it down as I worked out the figures and told him that I would not be able to pay him back in the time frame that he wanted.

I am honest and would only accept a loan that I could play back.

I am here to stay and build up my two websites for the crypto community, as I love everything about Bitcoin and Litecoin including this forum and its users.

Thanks

Have any of your other loan requests (I remember seeing 2 or 3 before) been filled and successfully repaid?  IIRC you mentioned that you were unemployed with no mining capacity to speak of and were requesting a loan to buy a 5850 or something.

I don't have anything like BTC65 to put up but I can contribute to the loan with, say, BTC5, if, of course, others come together for the remaining BTC60.

This is an Ipad 4 and with a personal engraving with my girlfriends name on and will be bought direct from the Apple UK store. I want her to have the Apple box and gift wrapped and everything. She is so excited about getting an Ipad and I know that this would make her day, bought from the official store.

Anyone that loans me the money get 5% on top anyway, so gets 84 BTCs 3.25 BTC 68.25 BTC back in less than a month.

I don't deal in dollars, I deal in pounds sterling when buying products as I am from the UK.

Thanks for posting.

80 BTC@$12+ == $960+...

Don't you think this is a lot for an Ipad that costs 300 euro ?

HI there,

I am looking to get an 65 BTC loan so I can buy my girlfriend the new Ipad for her Birthday. If someone get do this today then that would be good as the Ipad prices are reduced just for today.

I will be able to pay this back in December sometime after the 6th would be better as this is when when I get paid and with the 5% added onto the loan.

I am fully verified on BTCJAM with every single thing too.

I am well know throughout the Bitcoin and Litecoin community and even have a few websites on the go.

Is anyone willing to help me out with this?

Many thanks

CaptChadd

Changed amount to 65 BTC as I got the conversion wrong.
