Sadly I admit - I don't even really understand all that stuff well yet...  Near as I can tell sometimes it takes way longer than average to find a block, and since the reward is static you've then wasted some time.

If that's the case I just figure it all averages out in the end.  That's why I'm in a pool in the first place.

I hope your experience with nut2pool is good.

Sorry, you can blame me for the current 300% block (worst of the day). Apparently I'm a jinx  Cheesy

I posted earlier today about the nut2pools - I use them for any coins I mine that they're set up for:

https://wdc.nut2pools.com/

Excellent servers, great support.

Thanks, giving their NY server a try for a while  Smiley

Tried the following:

Scharmbeck: So much downtime in the last couple of days it's not funny. Also seems to have perennially bad luck i.e. lifetime of the pool it's at 279.70% actual shares vs expected shares.

TheBlocksFactory: It's an excellent pool, but unfortunately so much so that it's now running at 2.65GH/s! With 4MH/s running, and blocks often solved in 20-30 seconds, it's a lottery as to how many shares are submitted in such a short space of time = a lot of wasted hashrate.

D2.cc: Switched over to it yesterday evening EST. It seemed like I'd found the perfect pool at around 500-600MH/s, but about an hour after I switched earnings started showing up as weird error messages, earnings for many blocks were completely missing, then stratum connection errors, now it's impossible to even access the website. The stratum server seems to be up, but with no interface to see if my work is counting for anything I'm not inclined to keep going.

There must be a pool somewhere running at 400-800MH/s that actually stays up and running?

Thanks in advance for any pointers.
