Clients want to see a sample of your works you need to provide them not just sending you pm a blog is a good flat form to showcase what your writing skills is blogger is a good option because it is free to open one then you can post it in your signature where people can access it freely 
Post some examples of your work or links to examples and youll find more ppl interested in hiring you. Without seeing some samples its hard to know if youre a good writer
