Naw, an open beta (free) isnt worth 5btc, all that would have to be done is fill out a form for the beta.
It would take me time to fill in the form with correct, and accurate information to ensure the success of your application. Since time is money, I require money. 5 BTC to be exact.

If I had time, I would use a proxy to make a false Korean IP, google some general info and I would require no more than 1 BTC for this, because there's nothing outstanding and supeior in doing this.
