If i find some time today, i'll see if i can manage to compile it... (no promises tough).
I'll update this post when/if i manage to get it done.

That would be great!

Took me over an hour to do this:
Here are both the sources i used (patched) and the compiled binaries:

https://mocacinno.com/minimalb/openssh-6.7p1/

It's Openssh6.7p1 patched with https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/attachment.cgi?id=2521 compiled on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
You'll need libu2f-host as dependancie

you should be able to read the source and re-compile in case you want to (no offence taken if you don't trust the compiled binaries, i wouldn't trust somebody else either)...

Hi,

i have problems patching openssh with u2f patch (constantly getting errors):
https://kyhwana.org/blog/2015/01/11/patching-openssh6-dot-7p1-with-u2f-support/

I need binaries so i can put them into usr/local/bin and use them in ubuntu / mint.

If you can patch this for me, send me a PM and let me know the timeframe and how much you want for the job.

Thanks.
