Thank you for that lol, oh well. I don't really know much about this cryptocurrency nonsense.

I do have a question about this loan though, Would someone accept my social accounts and steam as collateral. I'm a game journalist and I do most of my work through there. Here are my links to the accounts

I can also offer my PR accounts with the game companies I work with.

I think the fact you asked for a loan using reversible collateral, and continued to ask for the loan after your scam was pointed out, means you won't get any consideration here.

I suggest borrowing from your family.  That way you won't feel back when you don't pay back.

PingPongCall, have you considered going to your friends/family for this loan? Surely they would be willing to help? Pretty obvious you won't be getting this loan here.

I did 10000 of something called Panda coin but every time I try to look up how much it's worth I come up with some physical coin.'
Pandacoin is currently worth $ 0.000007 each, or one satoshi, so your 10k pandacoin is worth 7 cents total! You can find it's coinmarketcap here. It's pretty much a dead coin, but there are still exchanges for it like YoBit. Might be hard to sell your coin though, since there are no buy orders.

I found that game for $1 at Gamestop a few weeks ago. I never much cared for the Assasins creed games, my wife loves them, though.

At least post the link of the account or the account apraise (you can use steamdb for this).
By the way, most members wont accept Steam accounts as a collateral because they can be reversed back to the previous owner (you). And the biggest problem is that your loan request is very high, it isn't small and your rank is Newbie. No one lends a penny to Newbies.

Does this picture work or should I post it a different way?

You should post the direct link to the apraisal rather than a picture with the username drawed over.

Turns out the steam summer sale started today

Yes, it has started and it's awesome. I'm buying Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag for 4.99 EUR  Smiley

Well if there is anyone else who would be willing to do so, I would need this loan by Sunday evening.
It will be hard to you for get loans on this forum because you are newbie and $250 is big amount, there are not people will take risk. You must be patient. Before you get loans on this forum you can try borrow on btcjam or loanbase. Good luck.

Thank you, I'm really only here out of desperation, I tried collecting bitcoin years ago but it just wasn't going to happen. I did 10000 of something called Panda coin but every time I try to look up how much it's worth I come up with some physical coin.'

You would need to find a staff on this forum, give them the:

--> Steam username/password
--> Steam creation email/password
--> Steam creation email recovery email/password
--> PayPal username/password
--> PayPal creation email/password
--> PayPal creation email recovery email/password

Then i will wire you the funds.

Stupid stupid idea.  The OP will simply call Steam support, tell them he was hacked, then give them all the previous passwords/answers to security questions.  The account will then be transferred back to him, and you will be out your bitcoin.

Well I simply can't ignore vod or all my other buddies who have gone through these experiences before.

I will not be participating in this loan.

If the items on your Steam account is worth over $280, I will accept it, if, a trusted member on this forum is in control of the account, until you return with a 5% interest.
You sure ? That's a wrong call I believe.As far as I'm aware,Steam accounts could be always requested back with the change of password as being hacked.I'm not doubting OP would do the same ,but there are chances.Its a big risk,$250 is not a small account.Read further : http://store.steampowered.com/news/19618/

Okay, is there anyone in particular I should contact?
Not sure if any reputed escrows do those kind of deals but you can always trust the one's from this list https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778 feel free to contact the who's recently online.

If Nyefe and yourself would like, I would be willing to hold the escrow for you.  I currently run a small loan service on here and I hold most all of my loan collateral for the loans I give.
Not trying to burst your bubble but it does take a good reputation around the forum to do escrows unless of course the third parties insist to use you.Having said that,running a lending thread is not really an excuse you can use to prove your reputation.

How can I get a trusted member of the community to get control of the account?

I wont accept the account if you've bought anything using any system other than a singular PayPal account.

You would need to find a staff on this forum, give them the:

--> Steam username/password
--> Steam creation email/password
--> Steam creation email recovery email/password

I just messaged a mod named Cyrus, I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying but I think my value is over $280. I only really have this to go on, can someone maybe tell me different. And yes I want to buy it back, I'm pretty sure that's how a buy-back loan works.

I only have to do this because of the problem that sprung up out of nowhere. I only learned about this site today while looking for ways to sell a steam account. If I could loan my account rather than sell it permanetly, I would rather loan it.

Whenever I do have the chance to play games for fun, I really do like doing so. I can post links to my professional profiles if that matters at all?

So I am in desperate need of a small loan and I had already posted my Steam account for sale on here. Then I found this,
I'm still not sure if I'm doing this right but I want to post a trade I guess, like collateral. I want to trade my steam account on loan for $250 so I can take care of this and then buy it back later.

Can someone tell me if this is being posted right?

Thank you.

Your steam account is not a valid collateral. (and this is definitely not a small loan)

Why ?

Most of Steam accounts aren't even worth 100$ so I don't think yours worth 250$ unless it's too old and high level etc... also , Steam accounts are easy to recover , you can simply contact steam and claim that your account got hacked or something.

You are not "trading" and "buying back" your account , the fact that you are using those two words makes me think that you are not going to give the loan back in the first place.

So no , this is not being posted right unless you have CS:GO/Dota Skins etc... people may accept those .
